We've been customers here since they opened. We live close by and love the ability to come and get a quick, healthy, refreshing lunch with smiling faces and quick service.

After today, I don't think it's likely we'll return. The re-model makes the experience highly impersonal, moving ordering to self-service kiosks. Menu items are reduced. No way to make a special request (like, light-sauce, please cut shrimp, less sugar in boba...). Tamago tastes different (not bad, just different), tofu looks different, also tasting old/pre-fried, and my bowl came out looking rather under-filled comparatively. Our larger concern is that if one were to order a standard option that it would've been made hours before just ready to plop out to the customer.

Fewer options, less food, lower quality, disconnected experience, and more money (seemingly to pay for the re-model). Is this a new owner? Because it definitely doesn't feel like someone who cares about clientele, just their money.

P.S. if you're one of those people who feel the shrimp vein should NOT be there... I would no longer recommend...

EDIT 2: well not sure what happened but it's better again. My car broke down and I went in as a last resort. Now the kiosks are gone and they have removed the wall! It's still more expensive but besides that it's still pretty great.

EDIT: Changing my 5 star review due to the recent renovations/changes. Basically every aspect of the experience is worse, Now customers order from a kiosk. Quantities for toppings are either 1 or 2. Not sure what that means. Now the base bowl is much more expensive, I believe it is now costs 20-25% more for the 3 protein bowl I would order every visit. Despite the price increase, my bowl was considerably less full. Customers can no longer see the assembly of the bowl which is definitely a downgrade. I also noticed it took considerably longer to be served than normal! I would visit regularly enough that the employees would know most of my order. Now it is impersonal and inferior. I have previously brought multiple friends to this establishment and recommended it frequently. Now I am unsure if...

First time here for lunch. The one guy did a good job at walking me through the menu. I ended up getting the salad bowl with "two scoops" (shrimp and tuna). They allow as much veggies as you'd like. Great selection. I had edamame, cucumber, carrot, red onion, scallions, and seeds. They have several sauces. I topped mine with the original sauce and the wasabi sauce combo. Both packed a little heat but that's what I was looking for. It hit the spot. Everything was super delicious and fresh actually. My only one star down was the neutral greeting when I came in saying "hello!" and wasnt really met back with one by the two people. I may be too enthusiastic for some. But also, for the dollar upcharge on the avocado that I added, it didnt look as plentiful as I saw in other peoples photos from here on Google. Maybe they ordered double. Who knows. But Im a huge lover of avos so I was a little bummed. Still though, I'd come back again to try out other combinations. FYI - They can also do rice bowls and...

This was my first time here (Pinellqs Park) location. I had the baked salmon, rice, corn, cilantro, red onions, ginger, avocado, carrots, poke sauce, spicy mayo bowl with a thai tea. I forgot to grab my side of wasabi but that was ok. The food was better than I expected. I ate the entire bowl at 12pm and only wanted a small salad around 9pm. The customer service was 20% tip worthy. The young man and yound lady had pleasant attitudes, were knowledgeable about the items, and patient as we decided what we wanted.
