Nambo Kitchen is a solid spot for local Vietnamese cuisine. I stopped in for lunch, curious to try their pho after seeing some glowing early reviews. They've only been open about a month, so I was excited to see how they were settling in.
The space is cozy and charming, with about six tables inside and a few more on the outdoor patio. I started with the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork — they were light, fresh, and paired perfectly with a flavorful peanut dipping sauce.
For my main dish, I had the raw beef and meatball pho. The portion of meat was generous, and overall it was satisfying. While the broth wasn’t the most flavorful I’ve had — a touch on the watery side — it was still comforting and enjoyable.

Read moreFor appetizer, we ordered spring roll and roasted quail. The spring roll is stuffed with grilled pork, shrimps, veggies, and bun. I really love their spring rolls, must try. The roasted quail was good.
The bun bo hue was a bit on a sweeter side. The soup wasn’t too spicy. The portion of meat and noodle is on a lighter side. The Nambo sizzling steak and egg (Bo Ne) was alright. Their bread was toasty and crunchy. The beef they used for Bo Ne has lots of fat, but there was a lot of meat. The eggs, pork liver paste, and the butter blends well together. I recommend trying the cubed meat for Bo Ne.
Overall, we enjoyed the service and atmosphere. A good spot to enjoy their special dish, Bo Ne, and Vietnamese...
Read moreI had the oxtail pho and it was flavorful even without putting hoisin sauce. They have many items on their menu typical of Vietnamese restaurants: rice noodle soup, rice vermicelli, rice and meat dishes, Banh mi, steak specials, tea, Vietnamese coffee, milk tea, of course pho, and many more. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Water gets refilled often. I like the video shown on the TV - one of Asian wet markets and the other beautiful landscapes and sceneries of Asian countries. The space inside is small and they have outdoor dining as well. The restroom is very clean. This is my first time here since they took over what was Bìch Nga. I would...
