The WORST Mexican food and service EVER!

The person answering the phone couldn't speak English and didn't know what HOMINY was nor their hours of operation.

First I was told they close at 8:45 but when I mentioned on a Saturday night?? their hours showed 9 p.m. she then stated the kitchen makes no food after 8:45 so they can close at 9:00 p.m.

Then I asked about the menudo and if it had hominy in it, she didnt understand in person nor what was in the posole. I asked to see the menudo and she told me to look at the picture as she couldn't show me the soup. The picture was a postage stamp size picture.

The menudo was served with barely an ⅛ cup of onions and ⅛ c of cilantro which was severely disproportionate to the size of the menudo to go. I came back and complained was told thats the owner who.is very stingy and I would have to oay extra. The menudo was wrapped in clophane so I couldnt check it. When I arribed home, in another city, it was swimming in a ¼ inch of grease and smelled rotten, putrid. The tripe was slimy and wasn't even well cut. It was in in jagged torn pieces and long chunks like someone used a dull knife or didn't even care to prepare well.

Cheese enchilas were not even cooked and cheese wasn't melted. Refried beans nor rice was temperature hot and I wonder if the kitchen was even using an oven if they were closing up early!

Im planning to dispute these charges as the food wasn't well.prepared and qe were hesitant to eat menudo that was onviously under cooke or went bad.

I think great reviews for this place are either faked or by friends/famiky or people drinking alcohol because there is nothing authentic about this food.

Even the tortillas were store bought and...

It’s your typical little hole in the wall which usually are the best places but this place doesn’t even try. We chose our table and a basket of salsa and chips were delivered promptly but that’s where it ended as quickly as it began for service. I guess you’re expected to eat salty chips and spicy salsa with no beverage. I had to go up to the counter where the server was scrolling her iPhone the entire time to ask for 2 waters. When she finally brought 2 waters about 5 minutes later we were finally able to order. We eat chips & salsa, drink water, wait for food, waitress is scrolling her social media. I’m drinking my husband’s water at this point. After I drank all his water too I grab our glasses and go up to her to request refills (I guess that’s what they expect you to do here). A few minutes later we get water. Chips and salsa are gone and we’re still waiting on food. My husband ordered tostadas. I ordered enchiladas. Finally his tostadas are served. I guess I’ll just wait because at least I have water now. Finally after a few minutes my plate arrives too. My refried beans were very dry as was the rice. The enchiladas were dry too. The food tasted like it sat unit heat lamp all day. Being a Texan in Florida it’s hard to find good Mexican food or Tex Mex here. I was optimistic but it was a huge fail. Our first clue should have been that the entire time we were the only customers on a Saturday afternoon. Horrible food. No service. Won’t be back. Do...

I just want to start off and say, I've never left a bad review in my life if I didn't like a certain place I just never went back. However this was my first experience at this restaurant and there were many things I was unsatisfied with starting with the Chips and queso. The chips were either stale or undercooked. The queso was almost whipped milk with little to no flavor at all never mind cheese. I tried birrria tacos also, the shell was soft, the meat was super dry even with dipping in the sauce. There was no flavor at all just a big chuck of half melted cheese.I added a ton of salt pepper, hot sauce on top of dipping in beans just to doctor it up. And I still didn't finish not even 1 out of the 3 tacos that came with the order.. The rice wasn't bad it was Mexican rice but just seemed like white rice with food coloring. If you're someone who doesn't like much seasoning or or over cooked / undercooked food this is the place for you! We were very respectful about letting the lady know we were unsatisfied with the order, we ate not even an eigth of the food and she did nothing to accommodate or help us out by even making fresh chips. I would never recommend this restaurant especially coming specifically for the birria tacos. But I do hope if you still decide to try it out you have a better...

So our go to is usually Chili Verde but since it was raining so hard my GPS Let me closer to this little gem. We arrived at 8:15 and they were closing at 9 o’clock so we were a little skeptical because we didn’t want to get food that had been lit under a lamp. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted very nicely. She explained the menu to us, gave us some really good options, and had such a bright and cheery attitude. The wait was well worth it. Birria tacos were absolutely amazing. I’ve had some from other places and they are always greasy and running with oils salt and just a mess to eat. These were beautifully made. No mess involved and super tasty. My boyfriend got another dish that came with an ample amount of food, that was gratefully well to his taste. We will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so for take-home food it was super yummy.

Walked in to order...waited for what seemed like 5 minutes before anyone appeared from the kitchen. I placed to go order for Quesabirria Tacos with side of rice and beans. $22!!! Uh. 13.99 for tacos, and what now for the ice-cold beans and rice?!? $8 for canned tasting beans, obviously not microwaved to temperature because, as I said, they were refrigerater cold. The tacos...NO. Bland roast beef and consommé...look at what I got vs. the other pictures posted from here. It was very disappointing for the outrageous price. Sorry, I'm just being honest... save your money and a trip.

LaGloria Mexican Restaurant is absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was bursting with authentic flavor—every dish we tried was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. This place is a gem and has quickly become one of our favorite spots. Highly recommend to anyone craving delicious, high-quality Mexican cuisine!
