Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

This drive-thru coffee kiosk opened today and I had to stop by and check it out. One owner was spinning the Now Open sign at the entrance and the other was welcoming cars as they pulled in. Super friendly! The menu has everything you could want from hot and cold coffees and teas, blenders and smoothies, not to mention different kinds of egg sandwiches and burritos, muffins, cookies, cake bites and this amazing cinnamon roll with warm icing drizzled all over it. You gotta try that! I was picking up for my family, so I got one each of the breakfast sandwiches, my son really liked the spicy sausage burrito. I had the maple waffle sandwich and it was awesome! Also got a nitro cold brew coffee, peanut butter crunch blender (so good!) and some tropical energy drinks. By the time I got to the pick up window my drinks were all ready and before long all the sandwiches too, super fast! The barista was very friendly and excited to be part of this new business. They gave me a coupon for half off any drink and also $2 off for downloading the app. This place is now definitely my go-to for coffee and it's right on my way to work. So glad...

I went for the first time on a busy Saturday Morning. I will say that by the time I got there I was the last car able to fit in the drive thru line and someone was sent outside to assist customers with a tablet which was helpful. I had a coupon for a free small drink and I picked there caramel licious iced drink. I always get almond milk because I can’t drink regular milk but I did say I wanted whip cream which I did not get (bummer) the building itself is so small it really is meant as a drive through, however they should have picked a bigger lot. Drive thru part is too small and if you have a big truck, let’s hope you don’t get stuck. Also they have a do not enter sign by where you come out of the drive thru which I completely get but they may want to reposition it. I missed my turn because it looks like don’t enter the entrance since the drive in and drive out share an entrance....

First Visit - Coffee was about average, nothing spectacular especially given the high price. However the customer service was excellent, very friendly employees.

Second Visit - I got an Iced Caramelicious which had fantastic flavor and was amongst one of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever had. I also got a Maple Waffle Sandwich, also great flavor and very reminiscent of the McDonald’s Sausage McGriddle but better, and able to be ordered any time of day.

My biggest gripe / complaint is that the prices are a little high / very comparable to that of items at Starbucks, but overall the quality of the drinks and food I have gotten have been very good. Their basic drinks (coffee with flavors / sugar etc) isn’t worth the price but I presume if you get any of their specialty drinks they will be well...
