Arby's — Restaurant in Pineville

It's been a minute since my last Arby's review - five years ago in Richmond. I just don't hit this roast beef fast food place very often. A bummer because today's experience was really good. I was on foot with my car being serviced nearby so this ended up a positive choice.

Arby's has an app like the other fast food chains. Busy at lunchtime today, I was able to find a seat at the hightop table facing the counter area. After connecting to their wifi, I installed the Arby's app and made an order. Super easy and it wasn't more than five minutes later, my name was called.

Roast beef sandwich was tasty, cooked the way Arby's does - medium well and sliced very thin. The condiments area had Arby's Sauce and Horsey Sauce (a creamy horseradish). That went really well with the beef. Instead of fries, I chose the mac & cheese balls. These were hot and delicious. Bummer there's only four in there because I could pop these all day.

The restaurant was busy but clean. The same guy taking orders was also out in the dining area spraying and wiping down tables when he didn't have customers at the register. Other people were happy - no one was returning to the counter to correct their orders. A very good...

As I sit in the drive thru line for 20 minutes I decided to write a review. Cars are lined up out of the parking lot, some driving away. This used to be my go to spot for quick service since I don't get a long lunch but not anymore. I waited 20 minutes last week in the drive thru and only ordered a kids slider meal and still got the wrong slider. The cars are waiting to put their order in with no cars in front of them that's the hold up, not placing orders makes no sense to be waiting to put your order in with no cars in front of you. Very frustrating to say the least. I don't know what happened to Arbys in Pineville but I advise not to go there this is my last visit. Yes I'm still waiting in line as I have typed a entire review just in case...

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat with a friend before heading home at about 9:30pm. The food took a little while to come out but was fresh and pretty good. However we were rudely run out of the restaurant at 10pm on the dot and forced to throw a good bit of food away. I have worked in many different types of restaurants and completely understand that everyone wants to go home when they are supposed to but never have I seen such rude behavior towards customers, usually the door is locked so no one else comes in and they are given a few extra minutes to finish their meal. My friend and I feel like we wasted money by even stopping at this restaurant after the experience we had and will not be coming...
