I absolutely love this place! From top to bottom it hits all of my desires and then some. First and foremost why do we come to a brewery? A great atmosphere to enjoy great beer. Check and check and I would make that a quadruple check in terms of great beer. In my humble opinion they have the best beer at the city and surrounding areas. Then you always think --well hopefully they'll have some finger foods-NOPE!!! They have a wonderful kitchen with a highly trained chef who comes up with unique and creative dishes on the regular as well as menu favorites that will knock your socks off including the chicken Philly or the chicken sandwich or the chicken tenders and all of their dressings that they make in house are to die for. The burgers are also absolutely wonderful and hand smashed. Another beautiful thing about this place is how Sports enthusiastic they are. A lot of breweries are a great place to bring your family and friends and dogs too but a lot of times there are not a lot of TVs or sources of entertainment. It's awesome to be able to go hit golf balls and drink beer or watch any soccer hockey football baseball Etc game in the world because they have so many options all over the place.

And of course in my experience the service has always been absolutely wonderful. I feel like they go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy, satisfied, and informed on the beer and food whenever needed. I've been in there when it's first thing in the morning and I've been in there when it's slammed in the middle of the afternoon and night and I always feel important and taken care of. They also have a wonderful selection of wine to be a beer hall. Cannot say enough good about the owners, the kitchen staff, and the wonderful head bartender Ben who is absolutely a wonderful human being as well as great service worker and an all around company man. To me he is a measuring stick of all the other staff and sets the tone more than appropriately.

Last but not least I will also say that I feel like it's a great value to drink and eat here.

Slammed! We went to Middle James Brewery after my sons soccer game with his entire team and the place was packed! There were no seats available inside or out HOWEVER, service was lightning fast, food and beers came out quickly and everything was great. There was no indication Middle James was busy except for seeing the number of people. The staff were helpful and efficient and in no way seemed or made us feel rushed. Additionally, there is a pretty cool view over a golf driving range out the back patio/ windows which provides some great golfer watching.

As with every brewery there are some common house beers that are always on tap and then some that rotate with seasons or popularity. I had a pint of Hour Mark (flagship brew) and Promise the Moon. Both promise tons of flavor and well brewed beers. There is a selection of seltzers, ciders and gluten free beers but those are limited to one or two each.

As for the food...I mentioned we went with my sons entire soccer team...of teenagers....after playing two soccer games... In short, ordering food was seamless but when it came it seemed like a bloodbath of hands and mouths grabbing everything and stuffing it their mouths. The good side was I got to taste the chicken tenders, my burger (about half before my son was ready to devour that too), fries and my wife's patty melt. Again, the food came out super fast and accurate and everything was really, really good. A definite for going back.
