Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Piscataway Township

I went on the day of national donations, where locations donate 100% profit to charities. I saw an article explaining this, and I figured, that's what I'm doing for lunch that day. I tried calling to place an order, there was no answer. I figured I'll just show up and see what's going on. As soon as I walked in, I understood. The line circled around the room, very busy. Maybe 15-20 people ahead of me, some even doing larger company orders. As I'm waiting to order, I see the size portions, and saw it was slim. For a meal, order a giant, and expect to eat 3/4 of it. Regular was half, on the website this was for 2 people. Not realistic. Corporate part aside, I ordered a giant and regular sub. The staff was quick, was upbeat, asked what I needed, and overall a good mood on a promotion day. The price was pretty silly, again, corporate side. End result, the subs were delicious, and were immensely enjoyed. Staff cleaned stations nonstop as they made subs. Except for portion size and price, wow. I walked in and was not acknowledged, meanwhile the next guest walked in and was acknowledged. It was my first time there so I then asked where the line was as I thought maybe I was in the wrong place. The young man stated I was in the right place but they were busy. I thought about leaving at that point because why is he telling me this? They then went back to what they were doing. The young man then come over and takes my order. I see him put roast beef on another sandwich and then barely put any meat on mine. He puts the meat and cheese on the bread and then slides it over to the girl working on other orders and walks away. She asks what I want on it and I tell her then wait. He comes back after I wait a few minutes and put the condiments on my sandwich. I couldn't wait to get out of there. It's my fault for going there. I should have went to Tastee's or Panera. I don't plan...

This location is ran by an interesting very Young staff most often. Whenever I come here it’s always an experience. In a nutshell this is how it goes. You step in and you feel like you’re on another planet. They move but seem to forget what’s going on. You can be the only one in the store and have to help them get the job done. 1 giant sub, here you go. Thanks can I have the other half you made but did not put in the bag. O ok here you go. It’s not the worst spot it’s just a weird feeling. I no weed is legal now in NJ but there’s a possibility it could be hindering this Location.
