Food: Highest Quality Burrito I've ever had, and I've eaten burritos from a lot of places. Chipotle is a joke comparatively, Babakoos is a 2nd place for restaurant chains, and now Tacoria hold 1st place in my heart and stomach. They are genuinely just built better, tastier, I never understood how people say "high quality ingredients" like all fast food burrito places taste the same but no, I actually taste the difference here, and this is after 5+ times of ordering im writing this review. Also THE CHIPS. Chips are no doubt unique compared to the other mentioned franchises, I order the chips alone to snack on throughout the day, they are thick and well made.
Service: You don't have to talk to anyone, order on the kiosk, really simple straight forward click and pay, get your buzzer, and pick up your food. If you want to talk to someone to order they always have someone there regardless. And everytime I've been there the employees have been genuinely nice good chill people, not a "im paid to be nice" but like actually nice people who are working a part-time job while in college.
Atmosphere: I believe the cool kids would call this place "boujee"? Either way its a nice aesthetic with the lights, painted walls, benches. It has that relaxed lets grab a bench and laugh with friends vibe. I'd take someone on...
Read moreI have never had a worse experience at a restaurant than I did at Tacoria. To start, the food wasn’t even that good—definitely not worth the hype. But what truly made this an awful experience was the way we were treated. Without any warning or explanation, the staff called the police on us to make us leave. Not once did they communicate with us about any issue, nor did they ask us to leave beforehand.
When we respectfully asked why they didn’t just speak to us first, they refused to answer and walked away as if we weren’t worth their time. Their complete lack of professionalism and basic decency was shocking. A business should never treat customers this way—especially when they have done nothing wrong. Instead of handling the situation with a simple conversation, they immediately escalated it in the most unnecessary and humiliating way possible.
Considering the mediocre food and the appalling way we were treated, I will never return to Tacoria. I strongly encourage others to think twice before supporting a restaurant that values neither its customers nor basic...
Read moreI’ve given Tacoria a few tries, hoping the experience would improve, but unfortunately, I’ve decided not to return.
The food itself isn’t terrible—the ingredients seem decent—but the flavors just don’t come together in a way that makes sense. It feels like a fusion attempt that misses the mark, especially for a restaurant branding itself as Mexican. The dishes lacked the kind of bold, coherent seasoning you’d expect from that cuisine.
What ultimately turned me off, though, was the front staff. On three separate visits, I encountered the same off-putting dynamic: cold, almost performative “Z-gen stares” at the register that made me feel unwelcome. It’s hard to describe, but the vibe felt detached and dismissive every time. That energy was enough to push me away for good.
Good ideas, but poor execution—and a front-of-house experience that just doesn’t make me want to come back. (Even if I didn’t try...
