LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Piscataway Township

Always excellent service, drinks and food! Hannah the manager worked with me to arrange a birthday luncheon for my husband’s birthday. I had 18 guests including us. I preordered the menu of chicken wings, stuffed mushrooms as appetizers, salad and Flo’s 9oz filet mignon and lobster tail with a side. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious! The steaks are always tender! Thank you! The steaks are always amazing because it’s cooked perfectly to our medium rare. It’s seasoned as we requested! Thank you! We brought our own birthday cake and we ordered coffee and tea at Longhorn’s. Our server Dawn was absolutely amazing!!!!!She got every order correctly and was constantly checking our beverages for refills! She was constantly clearing the tables for more room while enjoying our meal. Amazing service!!!!! Thank you Dawn! A really nice, friendly, efficient and professional server! Thank you so much DAWN! 💜 Friends orders were wine, spritzers, beer and margaritas! Excellent! And~ I cannot forget the delicious fresh hot bread!! Delicious with the soft spread butter on it! It melts in your mouth! I’ll definitely be back as much as I can for lunch and dinner! ( Always wear loose pants here! LOL ) Excellent food and service from Hannah the Manager, Dawn our fabulous server and the others assisting at this Longhorn Steakhouse in Piscataway NJ.!!! Thank you! 4/18/25 We were greeted by the host and seated right away! Thank you! My husband and I went to a delicious lunch in between errands. We’re always happy to see Dawn. She’s an amazing server that’s very nice, friendly and always gets our orders done perfectly. She’s so efficient that she refills my husband’s iced tea without asking! Thank you Dawn! We had the delicious crispy chicken wings for our appetizer. Then we both had the cheddar cheeseburger but mine with the yummy hickory smoked bacon. We both had Caesar salad for our sides. I had my usual strawberry margarita with the sugar rim. Delicious! We had a wonderful relaxing lunch experience at Longhorn. Thank you! We spent under $60. for two people.

Went to Longhorns several times already in the past few months. Went today with my husband for a brief lunch in between errands! Always friendly and nice and no wait at the front reception desk. The host seated us in Dawns section. We just live her bubbly personality! She’s always always so nice, friendly, efficient and gets our orders perfect every time! I always like their cocktails especially the strawberry margarita on the rocks with a sugar rim. My husband got a seltzer with lemon. Dawn is amazing always refills my husband’s beverage. She’s always very attentive with extra napkins. Sooo amazingly nice and professional!! Thank you Longhorn’s for the delicious burgers, drinks and most importantly the excellent service provided by Dawn! That’s why we keep coming back! Dawn works really hard and deserves a big raise! Thank you!!

Try to go on a weekday= no wait and 12:00, 3:00 or 4:00 it’s not a bad! You get seated right away in less...

We arrived at 8 pm. Well after the normal dinner rush. The restaurant was about 1/4 of capacity with pleanty of booths and tables, but yet we still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. It took 15 minutes for a server to even say anything to us. It was the usual "I'll be right with you". 10 minutes later she returned to take our order. My wife and I ordered 2 beers with water, and my coworker asked for a water no straw, no lemon. 10 minutes later She proceeded to bring us a straw and lemon in our waters. We ordered together and expected our appetizers to come at the same time. They came 15 minutes later, and were brought 5 minutes apart which were hot and well prepared. Then our dishes sat on the table for 10 minutes as she passed multiple times. We then continued to wait well over 30 minutes for our main dishes. We asked multiple times about our food. And our server continued to stop and talk to other staff in the restaurant. When we received our steaks and my wife's chicken dish. Neither of our steaks or sides were warm. In fact my coworkers salad was warmer than our steaks and sides. I asked for medium rare; it came medium well. His was asked medium well and came as such but cold. My wife's chicken however was hot, but her sides were cold. This shows very poor preparation with the cooks, and even worse on the servers end who told us she watched our food come off the grill. How are you going to lie to two men who have much experience in the food industry. He attended culinary school and worked 6 years in the industry. I ran a multitude of restaurants and spent 8 years in the industry. If I was the manager both you, and the cook would be fired for your sub par behavior/pride in your work. I was more than ready to pay for my beer. Seeing as that was the only thing that wasnt wrong. But the manager did the correct thing and did not except our money for this horrible dining experience. As someone who ran a longhorn in Indiana for 2 years I am very disappointed in the dining areas cleanliness as well. All the light fixtures were covered in dust. The booths as well aside from the table, and bench were covered in dust as well. I do not mean a days dust. I mean months of neglected cleaning. I would hate to see the grill/food prep area.

I give the manager tonight a round of applause for her handling of the situation. Although I highly doubt that anything here...

My mom is always telling me how this is her and my dad's favorite restaurant, but I never got the hype. I've really been into lamb chops lately, and I saw that they have it on the menu. Last night, my boyfriend and I decided to check it out, and boy, were we pleasantly surprised! I got the lamb chops, and he got the rack of ribs. Everything was amazing! We're big on mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese and spinach. We thought all three were great! The lamb chops were cooked to perfection! I'm not the kind of person to eat cold leftovers, but this food was so good I ate it cold right in the middle of the night. No shame. We saw a lot of things in the menu that we loved and plan on heading back very soon! Also, I want to say that we used the app on the website to reserve our wait and we sat in our car when we got there, and they definitely did call us when the table was ready. So we didn't have to stand around inside. I will say, it was quite busy, and I wish our waitress had more time to check on us. There were a couple of times when we needed something, but we ended up saying never mind because we weren't seeing her or she wasn't coming to us. Overall it was a great experience and had a great variety of food and a great variety of appetizers.

Also, for the amount of food we got and for the quality of the food, the price was definitely worth it! I feel like I went to other restaurants where I've spent way more money for a lesser quality of food or a smaller portion or lesser quality ambiance.

I feel like LongHorn Steakhouse is a hidden gem & I ain't sharing it with no one...
