Hey, I’d like to share my recent experience.
The gas tenant was on his phone while fueling my vehicle, tripped and pushed the nozzle downward into my fuel neck. When he pulled it out, it sounded metal on metal.
This was at 3:00am
Two days later, my car will not start. Blown a fuel pump fuse, and refuses to stay on after 10 minutes.
I filed a claim, and I am expecting to hear back from their insurance, as well as the mechanic. If it’s a mistake on their end I am not sure as of yet. Please understand that having fueling issues two days after this is obviously their fault. Being on the phone and fueling someone’s vehicle is very wrong. At this point, it makes no sense why my car would have issues. I take care of my vehicle.
They need an estimate, and proof as to what happened. The footage from their cameras should reveal the whole situation.
I will say this, I’ve seen the same gas tenant on his phone multiple times, I never had a problem until damage was done to my vehicle. Management will deny all claims, suggesting to reach out to support, rather than addressing the problem. I don’t see how I will ever fuel up again there.
Wawa said they’d take care of it if it’s found to be their fault, and I know it is. Sound coming from my tank sounds like a blockage & clunking. There are new sounds coming from my gas tank when running. Never had I had this happen to me, period. Never have I experienced such a terrible situation.
Please Wawa management, if you are reading this, please review the fueling procedures because either way, being on your phone while fueling up is against the law. Whether damage was done from their negligence is ultimately up to the mechanic. I have to pay out of pocket up front too. So how is that okay? It’s been two weeks.

Read moreI am a wawa regular at different location near home. This wawa is near my work. For third time, they have done a horrible job. Today I draw the line and will never eat here again. They’ve lost a potential regular. The hoagie I ordered, wasn’t even wrapped properly. The wrapper was falling apart. Tape was stuck to itself. This was clearly a blunder. True disappointment waited when I sat down to eat. The wrapper end was inside the hoagie! Few jalapeños were among the outer wrap paper. How does it get there? I open the wrapper and the whole thing just falls apart. The bread was squished from one side. Did this person Drop it? Threw in anger? Idk. The hoagie was not cut properly. The cut went only halfway. I had to cut it with my fingers. Toppings were not placed, they were thrown around. Clearly this food was not made with heart. Yes I have the audacity to say that because I myself have worked in customer service. When you work customer service, specially fast food, please make sure you treat it like food. You’re not working in a factory. I cannot eat this. Someone clearly sad & frustrated made this with anger. Aside from quality reason, I don’t wanna eat this because of the negativity it is made with.
I’ve paid my dues and I can say this, no job is small. No job warrants this type of a behavior from you! Just because you’re putting yourself through something in life, this is not how your immediate problem will be solved. Read moreBesides the girl who is always cleaning everyone else in here is beyond lazy. This used to be the spot. They must’ve lost all of their OG employees cause this place is a hot mess. One day I pulled up for gas and no one was there and I got yelled at for pumping my own gas so I understand the laws and didn’t plan to do it again but then today Jan 13 at 3:09 I pulled up and I tried to make my car loud enough so that the guy knocked out in the booth could hear me. Then another guy pulled up and waited for a while so I got out and beeped my lock and still he was dead asleep so he’s probably tired. We’ve all been there…so I pumped my own gas and the girls inside were jsut laughing at the fact that their employee is jsut asleep. Mind u last time they were telling me that people can steal gas so you only pick and choose when to yell at customers. I can only imagine if people know how to pre authorize to fill they probably had a lot of theft tonight due to no employees. 3 girls inside and no one bothered to come wake him up or come outside to assist the customers but it took two of them to make my one single drink. lol I wonder where...
