White Castle — Restaurant in South Plainfield

Yesterday I placed a large order around 8 PM for a Cravecase with jalapeño cheese, 5 cheese fries and a few other sliders. First of all White Castle was due to have my food ready so Grubhub could deliver it between 9:05-9:15, shortly after the delivery ETA went to 9:25-9:35, few minutes later it gets updated to 9:45-9:55. The Order is delivered by 9:55. Also white castle completely messes up my order and forget to include the 5 cheese fries I ordered and shove a bunch of extra sliders into a bag (don’t know why). After calling grubhub I got my refund for the cheese fries but the guest that the cheese fries were supposed to feed were left hungry at 10 PM. White Castle never answered their phone calls either when I attempted to call them to see if where the cheese fries were. Unfortunately this was a disaster of an experience, definitely not ordering anything...

I wish I could give a zero. I checked online for their hours before going, opening at 7 am. I went at 10 am through drive thru. The lady there started taking my order, but then stopped talking after. I waited few minutes before pulling up to the next window. She rolled her eyes and said her headset died. I understood and said Ill wait, no problem. I asked her if it would be easier if I came inside the store. She continued by saying I am the only one working here, I am not even supposed to be open rn. It was 10 am, they've been open since 7 am. I told her my order, and she interrupted me to say keep the order simple, i told you i am the only one working here. There were no parked cars, anyone inside, or cars behind me. It was slow she couldve made my order without having an attitude. After hearing that, I told her leave it, im good. Never...

We were the only car in the drive thru when we arrived. The wait, utterly ridiculous. 2 people took our order, you can hear loud playing and chatter in the background. Drive thru window Pickup - no hello, just the price of the order and a clear interest in the laughing and rigmarole that was going on in the background. Got my order, drove an hour home to finally try a cheeseburger to find an overwhelmingly salty case of cheeseburgers. Overly salty to the point there weren’t edible. Woke up this morning with a massive headache possibly influenced and caused by the salt ridden cheeseburgers. The fish nibbles were consistently great as always which is the reason for the 2 stars.
