I am very disappointed in the way that they are conducting business. Me and my family have been coming here for years.. I always reccommended people to go there just until recently about a month ago. The food is always good but when the customer service does not match, it makes you look at the business differently. I placed an order for pickup, someone picked it up for me. I got a half chicken hoagie and a large cheese pizza. They sent the person I had pick it up back with a pepperoni pizza and we do not eat pork at all so as you can imagine I was upset about that but I understand that mistakes happen, everybody is human. So I proceeded to call them, they answered I told them the situation and granted this was around the time they were about to be closed but at the end of the day me and my family would have been starving that night had I not called them. They said that my cheese pizza was still there and asked how long it woukd take for me to get back I said about 8-10 mins. She says okay. They then call me back about 5 mins later saying make sure I bring the other pizza back and how far am I away. I said he should be there in about 4-5 mins. She says “WHATT! How do you go from 2 mins to 5 mins” and I could tell it was a different person that I was speaking to from when I initially called them. I said, “I never once told you I would be there in 2 mins, that’s not even possible I don’t live right down the street so she says ok aand hangs up. At NO POINT was there any apology or anything said about them making a mistake. All they did was rush me to get...

I work on the North Shore and late morning had a hankering for some good pizza for lunch. Looked up highly rated places near me and Giorgio’s popped up with great reviews.

Looked at the menu and they do sell by the slice, but decided to go with a large pie so I can have dinner leftovers.

Called in my order, Nella was friendly and also efficeint on the phone. Was advised to pick up in 25 minutes. By the time I hot there, I was greeted straight away by Nella and noticed this place was humming making food and had customers already there eating in or getting takeout. That is always a good. sign on a Wednesday at 11.45am.

Pizza was handed to me piping hot, first look in the box and it looked great. Decided to eat a few slices in the restaurant at the counter near the window overlooking Western Avenue.

The crust is thin, crisp and was cooked perfectly. The slice had a good ratio of sauce, cheese, toppings and spices. It tasted very fresh, I ended up eating half the pizza, it was that good.

I will definitely be back for lunch when at the office or on Steelers or Pirates game days.

They have been here for 30 years and I am just now trying this good restaurant. The menu is extensive and I will be back to try other...

I did not have the pizza, which the other reviewers seem to like. I made the mistake of ordering lasagna. The noodles were complete mush. There was 1 very thin layer of ricotta cheese (think of it like how you would butter toast - just enough to cover). Primary a stack of mushy noodles with too much sauce and a ribbon of cheese on only one of the layers. Ordered the meat sauce and since that was an add, I knew there would not be meat in the lasagna itself The ground beef had an odd finish. I had six bites of this slop and threw it away. I tasted no garlic in the garlic bread. It was green, so it seemed it might have been a pesto sauce but then was globbed over with so much cheese (who asked for cheese on the garlic bread?) that you couldn't taste the flavor of the garlic bread. Cheese can be a great add to a really nice buttery, garlicky and well toasted, crunchy bread but that was not this. It was also mushy and soft, a repurposed hoagie bun. I had to brush my teeth twice to get the taste of all of this out of my mouth. Will not be back. Counter staff was not friendly and then seemed offended when I said I did not need plastic bag to take...

Stopped by for the renowned Giorgio's Cheesesteak and it did not disappoint. First, I got a half, and it was a big portion (as pictured.) The roll was soft but crispy on the outside and perfectly toasted. The onions were noticeable and delicious. The meat was high quality (or at least it seemed like it, no gristle). I got the house made Italian dressing and no mayo. The Italian dressing was assertive with every bite, and I really liked that. The cheese was also stand out. It was not a cheese sauce. It was cheese. Yum! Would definitely order again!
