I would have to try them again to give a fair verdict. Google is asking me months down the line for a review so all I remember is being upset with myself for giving into late night hunger. Lol. Door Dash is insanely expensive and my food was not worth it. I didn't care for the fried glass noodles. The hotdog was good, but they only sent 1 ketchup packet, 1 mustard packet, and it's basically a huge, hard, dry cheesedog so that didn't really help. It was a very dry and hard meal. I can say that, but I would try it again if I go and dine in. I think sometimes there's a difference in experience with certain foods when you dine in versus get food delivered. Korean street food, if you order fried food is not meant to door dash or take home. You need it hot and ready to eat immediately. Not after it sat in a car for an hour before you got it. I remember removing the flour covering from the glass noodles. Thai food can be delivered, eaten in the restaurant, or delivered. It's going to be juicy. Get what I mean? Hope this helps. Google is on my nerves asking about this place because I didn't want to leave a negative review. Korean, Cambodian and Thai food are my absolute favorite cuisines so this is not meant to dump on the place. I had it once on a late night where I think I ordered just before they were closing and I got my order like an hour plus after ordering even though the place was 9 minutes from the hotel I was staying at. That's just what you get when you door dash these...

I had looked at the menu pictures others had posted to see what I might get. When I got inside, I noticed that a couple options were blacked out, but it was not a problem.
I ordered the Pork Cup-bap because of the price, and the Kimmari. It came to a little over $11 with tax.
I was accidentally served the Bulgogi Cup-bap, possibly a mix up or they misheard me when I ordered with my mask on. I was going to order that one another time anyway so it wasn't an issue.
I sat at the window bar and was delighted by the food. The meat portion was large, and included a lettuce salad with spicy dressing, rice, and japchae noodles. I was intrigued by the salad but the flavors all went well together.
The Kimmari was amazing. I thought it was going to be like deep fried Gimbap (sushi), but there was no rice or vegetables, just japchae wrapped in seaweed. Similar in shape and style to grape leaves. I'll definitely order more next time.
My suggestions would be to possibly add Japchae as an entree option with vegetables and protein add-ons. Also perhaps cut the meat into to smaller sizes since I only used chopsticks.
They were also playing K-pop which was nice since I was by myself and didn't have headphones.
Highlights: Outside seating. Small menu. Quick, friendly service. Accept Panther Funds for Pitt students.

Read moreI debated giving them 2 stars. So I the rice bowls are yummy and the ttokbokki is decent. It has flavor but the sauce is too soupy. Also it's just over priced..... honestly maybe I'm just spoiled because I'm used to good korean food from NYC and better prices. The additional items you can add to the ttokbokki in my opinion is pricy but i guess with todays economy and inflation it makes sense. The taiyaki is too bready and not enough filling. Hot dog is decent. Ramen is $6 dollars which is like eh.... because it's shim Ramen that you can buy for less than 2 dollars a pack and cook it at home. It's not like they cook it for you here. Honestly just buy a pack and make it at home. They advertise its the "han-gang"(han river) experience but in korea Ramen is less than $2 USD for the same thing. I feel that if you are korean you most likely won't eat here unless you were really feeling nostalgic or can't cook it yourself. It is not worth the prices for me. So this is a no for me. Despite my feelings about the Ramen and tokbbokki, and taiyaki (the gold fish bread) the rice bowls are yummy and the staff is really friendly. I believe the owner is the same guy that does Mr. BULGOGI food truck so it's nice that I dont have to chase the truck for a bulgogi bowl...
