Rock 'n' Joe Coffee (Penn Ave) — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

This is the absolute best coffee my sister and me have ever had. The raspberry mocha latte is so good that We walked all around Pittsburgh, across the bridge, and had to come back to get a second one before leaving Pittsburgh. It’s so smooth and the raspberry doesn’t taste artificial at all. I actually had the pumpkin latte the first stop in which was also super delicious but after trying my sister’s raspberry latte i knew I’d need one of those! We also split the blueberry crumb cake for breakfast which was yummy. The service was fast and friendly even when they were busy and the atmosphere is so cute and was quiet with nice music and ambiance, especially the upstairs lounge area. We haven’t stopped talking about it and how we wish there was one in Greenville, SC and Chandler, AZ...

Bad customer service. Coffee shops are normally open to the public even if you are not buying something. A friend and I were sitting out at their tables, yeah we had other products from a different store but when asked to leave; I said I would purchase their product. The lady said they didn’t want Starbucks cup at their OUTSIDE tables. I asked the lady so I have to throw away my Starbucks cup even if I buy something here and she said nothing and just stood and blocked the door. Being a formal Starbucks employee, our customers would come in with dunking donuts and sit in the cafe area. They were not asked to leave because we are open to the public and appreciate every single person that comes...

I used to love this place, but I think they're under new management or something, because the service was off. The manager spent a couple minutes talking to a sales person before noticing a customer, then the manager didn't know the menu, then my payment failed, so I stood around for 15 minutes while the mamager talked to the sales person behind me before they noticed and allowed me to actually remit payment. Bad experience, hope to be back one day for a better one: 2/5; oh, even better, when they did notice after shuffling me to move out the end of the counter, they made me feel like I was trying to steal or...
