Terrible customer service experience. My wife and I visited this restaurant for brunch and were greeted by Casey at the hostess station. From the moment we arrived, Casey was extremely rude to us. Despite the restaurant being only about 70% full, Casey informed us that it might take up to an hour to get a table.
While we understood that they may not have been fully staffed to accommodate all tables, what frustrated us was witnessing two other couples, who arrived separately and without reservations, being immediately seated. This struck us as odd, so we asked Casey how many parties were ahead of us. Casey refused to provide this information and simply told us to continue waiting for about 30 more minutes.
After standing for an extended period, we decided to sit next to one of the unoccupied tables to make our wait more comfortable. However, Casey approached us in a very rude and unfriendly manner, demanding that we not sit there. Eventually, after about 45 minutes of waiting, we were finally given a table that had been available since the moment we arrived.
To confirm our suspicions, we spoke with the couple who were seated just two minutes after us at the adjacent table. When we asked them how long they had waited for a table, they revealed that they were seated immediately. This clearly demonstrates that the waiting game played on us was entirely unnecessary and seemed like a power trip.
We found this level of unprofessionalism and humiliating customer service to be exceptionally unpleasant. As frequent restaurant-goers in various cities and countries, we have never encountered such a demeaning experience. Waiting as needed is understandable, but this experience was an exceptionally...
Read moreWe had high expectations going into Sally Ann’s for brunch, however we left extremely disappointed and before our main meals even came out. Right off the bat, we were met with poor service. No water offered, no silverware set out for the extra people at the table. Additionally, the issues arose when we had to ask numerous times for both the missing water and silverware in question. Furthermore, when seeking out our waiter for these things, they were no where to be found. The ultimate red flag was the fact that we were waiting for over an hour and a half for our main meals to come out. I would say that about an hour in to waiting, our waiter came over to inform us that our food would be right out. The food in question… was no where to be found. After over an hour and half of waiting for our main meals, we decided to get up, pay our tab for what we received, and leave. When we went to pay our tab, we were met with extremely insincere apologies on behalf of the management staff. Additionally, in our reservation, we had this set up for a birthday meal, and there was no acknowledgment of any birthday during our time there. Finally, when we had addressed our problems with management, there was no effort on their behalf to refund us, or offer anything on the house for our troubles. As much as I would’ve liked to say that I throughly enjoyed my time at Sally Ann’s for a special occasion, I did not. I will not be returning here to try it again, and will be imploring my friends to...
Read moreLet me start off by saying the food was delicious. Best latte Ive ever had. The lavendar in it was fantastic. We tried the Quiche, cinnamon roll, Frankenberry Waffle (kids loved the edible glitter on this) the salmon toast and a few other things. The food is delicious but slightly over priced. The Cinnamon rolls (Although large) should NOT be $16. I definitely thought it would be bigger for that price. It was however delicious and my kids ate it up before we could get a photo. The Quiche was large, flavorful and the crust was perfect and flakey however the lettuce on the plate needed dressing or something. Basically seemed like they just put a handful of mixed greens to fill the plate so that you didn't feel bad paying so much for 1 piece of Quiche and so that you wouldnt have such an empty plate. It would have been better with maybe a few pieces of cucumber and tomato with the greens and some dressing.
The main problem was the music. It was so loud we could not hear each other talking. I understand they want to keep the vibe they have but the music definitely needs to come down some so you don't have to scream over it, and yet still can't hear what the person across from you is saying without saying what or I can't hear you multiple times.
Overall I'm glad we tried it. Food was delicious. I don't imagine we'd go back though as for us it just seemed slightly overpriced and It was hard to carry a conversation on with those across the table because of...
