The Flats on Carson — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

Last night, I had a very poor experience here. I was with a group of 7, and one of my friends was going to the bar to get a drink. One of the customers started getting very aggressive and loud toward my friend, and it seemed like he was getting ready to start a fight. Security came in to the one man screaming and my friend confused. They ended up kicking my friend out for doing nothing and forcing him to take the service stairs out. When my friend was trying to ask why he was being removed and that he did nothing wrong, the security team was very rude to him saying, "Dude, I don't care. Get out."

Obviously that's bad enough in its own right. But the thing that really bugs me is the fact that the bar is creating an environment encouraging dangerous and aggressive patrons. The bar would rather keep customers that want to start fights than people minding their own business. I've gone to the Flats a few times, but my trust with them to have a safe place to have fun has been completely broken. The 7 of us all left after my friend was kicked out and do not plan on returning. For your own safety, I would not recommend...

Very very racist I went there yesterday and I had on a pair of leggings with a black boots and a black top and this girl had on a pair of sweatpants and a Holter top with heels on and the one man told me I could not come in because I had sweatpants on and I did not and then the girl that had sweatpants they let her in and the one man I asked how come she can come in and she has sweatpants on and he was very rude and very nasty talking about he's the boss you can't come in and you have a good night and was very nasty and very rude towards me but mind you my best friend that I was with who is also Caucasian had on the same pair of pants and they let her in so I'm having a huge issue with why and I don't care where I have to pose I will be posting this Andy I'll be letting a lot of people know about the treatment that this place gives to other people it's ridiculous and it's awful and I will not spend my money at...

You get 1 star because I cannot give you less. Severely unimpressed. My wife and I stopped in not long ago during off peak hours. The staff was pretentious at best and just ignorant and rude at worst. The drinks were not well made and expensive. The food was highly disappointing. The entire time we were there we felt like we were intruding on something even though there were only a few people in the restaurant at the time. I asked about a beer they had on tap that I had never heard of and the bartender completely dismissed me. (I really think he had no idea about it either).
