Lefty's Grill-Ann Arbor — Restaurant in Pittsfield Charter Township

Me and my fiance stopped in here after a long day of work because he was having blood sugar issues and we thought it sounded like a good lunch, my fiance went in and us both food while I sat in the car waiting shortly after he ordered our food I got 2 different texts from my bank saying there was 2 different charges equaling close to $1K and asked me if it was fraud (which of course it was) I immediately walked inside and asked my fiance if he paid with our debit card and he said yes and asked why I was wondering so I showed him the texts and I got on the phone with the bank and immediately locked and canceled my card, while I was on the phone with them my fiance came out with our food, he ordered a Ruben and his order was completely WRONG they put it on white bread instead of rye, didn’t put any sauerkraut on it and put American cheese instead of Swiss. If I could could 0 stars i would I had my whole order wrong and hurt, I called the store asked to speak to a manager the manger wasn't there they didn't have a manager at night. So they told me to call back in the morning. I called in the morning. They told me that the manager didn't come in until 5 o'clock so I called at 5 o'clock and they told me the manager was not in then the lady proceeded to call the manager. The manager told me there was nothing that he could do because he didn't know what I was talking about, because you were never in your store, maybe if you were. In your store, you would be able to know what I am talking about. This is not the first time this has happened to me at this store, but this is becoming horrible customer service and I don't understand how they're maintaining in Ann Arbor like this. I've been here 6 times since it opened to try different things. Let's get this straight, these are not subs. They are hoagies. The Reuben might be the best thing on the menu though, contrary to the name on the sign. They use Sy Ginsberg corned beef cooked right in the store. Very very good. The cheese steak should be had with the cherry pepper relish. You'll remember 6-12 hours later how hot it was. My kids thought the burgers were delicious. None of the food here is frozen (not sure about the fries)...it's all fresh....and it shows, especially in the price. It's not cheap fast food.
