I had an absolutely delightful experience at Sofra Turkish Restaurant at 40 Melville Street in Pittsfield. I ordered a delicious Kofte Plate which was superb, flavorful, and perfect for summer. My abundant platter came with salad, pita bread, rice, and the moist lofted patties.
Take advantage of the lively, clean restaurant and eat-in, as I did! Of course, they do a good Door Dash business too.
The owner was warm and pleasant and was attentive to my concerns about allergens. My meal was perfect and this is now among my favorite places in Pittsfield!

Read moreREALLY liked this sweet, very casual place. Food was great - I had really good lentil soup and excellent kefta, wife and our friend had excellent chicken shawarma. Also very good grape leaves appetizer. Note that this is more Turkish than Middle Eastern (no chummus or baba ganouche, for example).
Owner brought us complimentary tea and at the end, yummy pastries for dessert.
