There aren't very many reviews for this place and the one review on here is decidedly negative. I'm not sure why though as I liked my dining experience here. It is not the fanciest place in town, but they have good food at a decent price in a casual dining atmosphere. There were quite a few people eating there when I went and the service was still prompt and friendly. I ordered fried ravioli's as an appetizer (which is one of my favorites!) and they were tasty and I liked their marinara sauce - nice and chunky. I had one of their Friday dinner specials during the summer - BBQ Ribs! They were nicely fork tender and fall off the bone cooked. They could have used some more BBQ sauce for my liking, but otherwise they were very good. The portion wasn't very big, but it was enough for me. They weren't smoked or anything either, but I still enjoyed them. For only $11.99, you really can't go wrong! Ribs at most restaurants usually run around $15-$18! Overall, I was happy with my dining experience and felt I got a decent amount of food for around $20...
( FYI though, their drink prices are a bit high. I was contemplating a mixed drink with my dinner, but didn't feel like paying $8 for a martini or a mudslide or something like that... So, I just stayed...
Read moreMy Valentin date and I waited well over an hour for our food. First they brought my Burger, then after waiting another 10 minutes or so, we had to go ask where my dates dinner was? We were told its just coming out of the oven. After waiting 10 minutes to get his meal, it was not what he had ordered...meat lasagna that had no meat. Being a busy night, i get it but when people around you that came in 20 minutes after you and are already finished with there food, i would guess we were forgotten??? But no, says the waitress, there is a party of 25 in the other room. So for some reason we had to wait all that additional time, but not the other patrons around us? Skinny short haired Manager? was rude and unprofessional. If this happened at Friendly's, it would have been free. There was NO attempt to make good for our inconvenience by the waitress or the manager, until we refused our meals, payed the bill, and then followed us out the door offering us a gift certificate. Needless to say we refused the gift certificate and told her we don't need it because we will never be back!! The only reason they get 1 star is because the Mint martini was...
Read moreThis was such an incredible experience for me today! I worked inside this building almost 30 years ago when I was 19 years old and it was Chi-Chi’s Mexican restaurant. I have liven in Michigan since 1994 and returned to Pittsfield a few weeks ago and took a trip down memory lane. I decided to come back today to spend more time in The Berkshires with my parents. I showed them the places I used to work and decided to take them to dinner here! We loved it! I am so happy to sit in the same booths I used to sit at when I worked there decades ago. The food and the service was spectacular so to pair all that with the emotional connection that I had internally going on, it made for a really great evening with my family. You guys don’t even know how happy you all made me today. Thank you! Sincerely Joe...
