If I could give the service a 0 I would. Older Lady at the front of the pick up section with glasses thinks shes above everyone around her and every single time I have gone there, have had to listen to her yelling about a range of things from personal drama to belittling coworkers in front of many guests. Inappropriate topics from time to time but the attitude and communication skills in general are abysmal to say the least. Last time I came, put in a pick up order at 12:30. Arrived at 1:10. Name was on a bag at pick up section but was not what I ordered. Explained that to this lady (who I was uncomfortable speaking to to begin with based on how I see her treat others) and all she had to say was that my order wasn’t made yet and that she has no idea what’s going on due to it being busy. Then waited another 30 minutes listening to her scream at coworkers before I finally got my food and left, not without letting her know how bad her service is, only to be told how she is excited to continue giving that level of service. Just bad all around on her part. Other coworkers seem nice and like they know how to communicate like normal people. Understandable that cafe business can cause an uprise in tensions backstage but coming from one who has worked in the field, you should always value customer service first. Just...
Read moreI have been to this Panera before with some issues of my mobile pick up order stating it was done, me arriving, and it not being placed where it should be. I've had to wait quite a while in these instances where other times pick up seems to go more smoothly.
However, today I picked up my order and it said on the receipt it was checked over by an employee. Silly me should have double checked but didn't. I got home and my half sandwich for my You Pick 2 was missing. I called and informed them of this and asked them to make the sandwich "now" as I was on my way. It takes me about 6-minutes to drive there and when I arrived, sandwich was not done. I had to wait and then when I was handed the sandwich, no apology was offered. I didn't let that bug me because I was so hungry and just wanted to scarf down my food.
Again, arriving home, I open my salad and go figure... The amount of dressing that was provided was miniscule and not enough to make use. I had to take the apples off because I had no dressing to go well. I opened my sandwich and there was 1 wilted piece of greenery throughout and the tomatoes had already slid right on out.
Hopefully next time the experience will be a...
Read moreJust picked up a $15 (after taxes) “whole” Strawberry Poppyseed salad to go. Total rip-off!! Tiny portion, made even tinier by the fact that I asked for the dressing on the side. They packed them INSIDE the to go container, taking up even more space! Next time I’ll order “eat in,” and will use up 3 or 4 of their to go containers, or better yet bring a large, washable and reusable one of my own. Shame on you, Panera, but your customers (at least this one) is forewarned and forearmed!!
Update: Just unpacked skimpy portion, and the lies keep piling up. Menu says “topped with toasted pecans.” Not a one to be found. At all. I’m generally a generous person, and get that there may be “supply issues,” and that you’re a chain restaurant apparently not in control of your own website/on-line ordering system, but come on already! Inform your waitstaff to verbally inform your customers of outages, offer substitutions and/or adjust price. And if they no longer know how to talk, at least put a sign up in the window (assuming someone still knows how to write?!) so that customers like me aren’t surprised to come home without the food they ordered, and paid...
