QuickChick Shawarma and Grill — Restaurant in Pittston Township

OMGoodness! what an incredible find! I was skeptical at 1st since it's a shopping strip establishment. But wow wow wow, what a great little gem!

If you know Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food you know that every country has their own spin on flavor profiles, this establishment packs all the amazing flavors and cooking styles of 🇯🇴 Jordan.

The staff was friendly and accommodating - growing up on this type of food so i was glad they let me sample some of it before ordering.

The bathroom was spotlessly clean.

For the kids we went with the chicken shish tawooq with double fries and garlic sauce and it came with a pita bread -the kids raved about the good flavor of the chicken.

I ordered the falafel platter - it came with 6 good sized falafels and man, they had amazing flavor, possibly one of the best falafels I've ever had in my life, it was made to order so they came piping hot, soft and flavorful. I am admitting they were better than what aunt made and grew up eating. the babaganoush was thick, creamy, garlicky and spot on! the hummus was also very very very good, creamy and flavorful, the tabboulah was lemony, fresh and everything it should be, oh my word the tahini salad i couldn't get enough! - very finely diced cucumbers, tomatoes bathed in tahini and fresh lemon juice, was to die for and i could have eaten the whole vat! I'm not a huge tahini fan but in this combo it worked fantastically, all this served with a side of warm toasty pita bread.

My husband had the kufta kebab sandwich with sumac onions and garlic sauce on a toasty pita bread - he highly enjoyed as well.

I can't forget about the homemade and made to order mint lemonade with chunks of lemon & mint.

The tzatziki & spicy sauce was good too.

oh i almost forgot about the turkish coffee -it was good, strong but i feel as though it was missing some traditional flavors.

All in all a good stop...

My husband and I decided to stop in and try the food here tonight.....it was beyond AMAZING! Everything is made fresh and you can tell the difference with every bite. The owner brought us a few samples which made deciding what to order even harder.The owner was so helpful and knowledgeable about the food and very nice. We decided to try a few things. First the Hummus...like nothing I have ever had before, simply perfect. The Babagannouge was delish and something new and different. The Tahini Salad had great flavor and fresh veggies. The Taziki salad was like no other Taziki, yogurt instead of sour cream and what a difference. We also had an order of stuffed grape leaves..these are not from a can like so many other places, you can just taste every flavor! My husband had a Falafel sandwich and he said any other he has elsewhere was blah compared to this one. Also fresh juice drinks, I had mango with no added sugar, smooth and refreshing. I am SO glad FedEx messed up my delivery and I had to drive over an hour away from Bushkill just to pick up my package in Pittston. This place has the BEST hummus I have had in the entire state of Pennsylvania (I travel and dine out A LOT) since I moved here from NYC. The food is absolutely delicious! I had the falafel platter and the chicken shawarma sandwich. I promise you, the food is worth the drive. This place gets infinite bonus points for having the most authentic and genuinely friendly staff. If you are a new customer you will get a sample of the food when you walk in. Trust me, just try it. Oh, and the prices are unbelievably affordable!!! We need to support small businesses like this one instead of big chain restaurants that have barely attentive service and bland food.
