Adriano's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Plano

The best thing I can say about Adriano's is Thank Goodness I Don't Live Nearby!! I would gain 50 pounds, I'm sure. OK...so seriously...I've only had the lasagne one time but it was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Or even at home! And it was served with this wonderful bread accompanied by a tomato-based dipping sauce (maybe like pizza sauce?) - delicious. I ordered a small garden salad/house dressing - produce fresh and crispy. A friend had an eggplant dish and she loved it. My mouth is watering for more. Can't wait to go back. Oh! Also....large portions. Nothing skimpy about this quaint Italian restaurant.

July 2021: OK. I've been back. LOL I love this place. Took a couple of friends with me this time and they are now planning to attend as a large family group. I ate the same thing - lasagne. Had an ample serving, brought the remainder home in a container for dinner. They also offered to give me another piece of bread to go and of course, I gladly accepted. Too bad I can't add...

Had an event in the area, husband wanted Italian. Did my usual Google search and found this place. Several families eating and then sitting around????? 3 tables had eaten and ordered 20 " pizzas to go??? There were only 2 people working in the restaurant! Very nice guy took our order and then brought us garlic rolls and warm marinara, Yummy! Our food was delivered to our table and it was awesome! I rolled my eyes at the flavor of the pink sauce, so good! The guy came out to ask how everything was. We told him Awesome and it was our first time there. The reviews are great! Can't wait to come back! He said it was his last day being open! Hugo, the owner, said the place is closing because there is nobody to work there! Business was good but with nobody to work the service was not good. They have had Hiring signs for months but nobody wants to work. We finally found the best local, family owned, Italian restaurant in the area and this was...

I very RARELY post reviews...if a place is great...i keep going...if a place is bad..i dont go again...when a place is AMAZING...i leave a review. Hence why im here. Im not close to this place (unfortunately)....however i will wait for uber to deliver bc uts just sooo good! The food was still so hot i almost burned my tongue even though my uber made a delivery on the way to me. The alma sauce (pink) is fantastic...the alfredo...creamy and so good...the rolls...OMG...the spaghetti...man...its all SOO GOOD. Like i said...i rarely post reviews. Adriano's deserves my time. I got the kids fettuchini alfredo anf the kids spaghetti bc i wasnt sure if i would like the food so i figured try 2 things and maybe ill like one...both are outstanding. I'll def be trying other stuff next time! Well done Adriano's...fantastic! I will def be back many...
