Let me start by saying it took them about 3 minutes to come to the intercom at the drive thru. I 1st said hello because I was sitting in the drive thru so long and no one had acknowledged me. Its be different if there was a line of cars in front if me(there was only 1) and the parking lot was full but it was like 6 and it was not full. Anyway, I say hello and the response I get "Thank you for choosing Braums can you hold on?" 1st red flag. Took my order (1 single dip cake cone and 1 quarter pound cheeseburger, no pickles & no onions) and was asked to pull up to the last window.. I proceeded to follow instructions given. I wish I'd would have taken a picture of the little dinky and sad ice cream cone I received. And had I not been in a hurry I probably would have taken a look at my burger before I got to my final destination (only 10min down the road.) I was given my cone and I gave my card. I then received my card and before she (Breanna or Breanne) gave me my bag, I asked " May I please have some ketchup?" No response. Pulls bag back and puts ketchup in pushes bag out the window and I politely say "thank you" and again she doesn't respond. 2nd red flag. Now I have a higher love for Braums than I do for a teenager with a bad attitude because I worked there in high school and it tastes way better than Bluebell anyday. My ice cream is always good. I dont eat burgers often except when I am in the mood for 1. I am opening my burger and it's not hot. The attached photos prove I am not lying. The bottom bun is soaked with ketchup but not like they put too much, but like it's been sitting on the grill or in the bag for the last hr. I tasted a bit of the ketchup and it tasted like pickles. The last time I checked ketchup didnt taste like pickles unless you wanted pickle juice in it or unless the burger already had pickles on it and they were just taken off when I placed my order. Also, my burger which when fresh has just a bit of grease because it literally came off the hot grill . The cheese is slightly melted blanketing the meat and the tomatoes have not left a firm imprint in the cheese just yet. Unlike this burger i received, the cheese is 2 toned (darker on the edges not touching meat or bread and significantly lighter in the middle where food touched it and where it has cooled with slight perspiration from being wrapped in the foil paper. I've always known Braums to use mayo on their sandwiches, but this was excessive. Needless to say. I will not be patronizing this Braums anymore and if you are smart, you won't either. Looks like this store's employees could use a bit more training or...
Read moreWhat can go wrong at Braum's? Bright, light, clean... Well, not always that clean in the area where they prepare the shakes. The food, ice cream and treat options are always good. There is a nice little store where you can buy ice cream by the half gallon, eggs, milk, bread, baked goods, fruit, chips and even some meats. Everything appears to be very fresh and reasonably priced. The service is not that good, though. There always seems to be trainees doing most of the work, and lots of other staff hanging out talking. On one occasion I observed two workers standing over a trainee while he was making a milkshake. Rather than instructing or teaching, they were criticizing and laughing at him. On another occasion I observed workers standing and talking when one worker asked for help with the customers who were waiting, no one responded. On yet another occasion when I attempted to purchase some items from the store, I could not get any assistance. There were workers at the drive-through and at the fountain, but no one manning the store. One worker walked away to the back after looking at me. Yet another had her purse and phone in hand behind the counter, apparently getting ready to leave. She would look at me but never made any effort to help or get someone else to help. I left that day without purchasing anything. Sadly these three incidents are not uncommon in this Braum's, but it is the closest to our home so we...
Read moreThis is our second time to try this place. This was our second time to have a terrible experience. The food is good. But, the staff is awful. The first visit, obnoxious loud employees in the dining room made it difficult for us to enjoy our lunch. This time we opted for the drive through to avoid dealing with inconsiderate employees inside.
We ordered two combo meals, a burger and chicken strips as well as an extra order of 4 strips. At the window, it was chaos. No one knew what was going on. After paying, another employee asked us to pay again. There was confusion and rude attitude about dipping sauces for the two orders of strips when we asked about them.
Finally, we get home with our order to find the extra 4 chicken strips we ordered and paid for were missing.
Forget this location. There's another Braum's 2 miles away at Custer and W Parker.
For what it's worth, it appears that one of the unprofessional rude inconsiderate employees having a very loud conversation in the dining room our first visit...
