Mendocino Farms — Restaurant in Plano

We went to Mendocino Farms this past Saturday to celebrate my mom's birthday and the experience was above and beyond our expectations. Dalton was the employee who took our order and he was so, so kind. His customer service was top notch from the time we entered the door and when he found out we were celebrating my mom's birthday he went the extra mile by throwing in some extras that made my mother's night, it was so appreciated. Dalton also told his coworker (I believe she may have been the manager) that it was my mom's birthday and she was amazing too! She gave our party of 3 complimentary chocolate chip cookies when she brought our order out and said anytime they have an opportunity to do something nice for someone, they take it. It definitely shows! I wish I knew her name, she has been so sweet and kind every time I've gone to this location and she even gave me a free drink on a previous visit. She's awesome. All in all the food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful and clean, and the staff's kindness made us feel extremely welcomed and appreciated. We couldn't have picked a better place to cap off my mom's birthday celebration. UPDATE Dec 2023: Back in less than a year to enjoy 1/2 sandwich and soup. Very good again. A number of friends and families enjoyed their lunch as well. Shopping area busy with post-Christmas crowd. UPDATE Jun 2023: Almost a year since our last visit and way overdue. Great food. Note the specials available see photo. We both got 1/2 sandwich and one watermelon side. More than enough food. Next time we might get one salad and split it. Hint: when you get your receipt go to chosen table, scan QR code on table top, enter 5-digit code on receipt. That way server knows what table you are located. Another hint: there is a parking garage behind (north side of restaurant/Windrose) so park there and walk right into restaurant. Also best entrance to Windrose Ave (Legacy West) is to enter from north (Hq Drive) NOT Legacy Dr. Less traffic and access to all parking garages. I’m officially putting Mendocino Farms on my “go back ASAP” list! 💯

This charming spot has an inviting atmosphere and a beautiful patio that just makes you want to linger a little longer. 💛 From the moment we walked in, the customer service was warm and welcoming. 🙌🏾

I ordered the Peach Salad (seasonal and SO good!) — super fresh, light, and full of flavor. My dining partner had a sandwich (I think it was meatless), and I had to sneak a bite… DELICIOUS. 😋

💥 What really surprised me? How reasonably priced everything was! Fresh, flavorful food that doesn’t break the bank? Yes, please. 👏🏾👏🏾
