8/3/25: We love the food here! The staff is always so nice. We escaped from a Storm front and feasted on a Ekolu Plate with Katsu and Teri Yaki chicken. Once again, love the taste, texture, and flavor. But really, eating the food bring family memories of my parents cooking the same at home growing up.

06/01/25: Okay, so my wife and I love this place. This time we ,both, ordered the same plate: Katsu Chicken and Teriyaki chicken, Macaroni, and cabbage. Served fast with a smile. Always crispy and tasty. Thank you again for another delicious meal.

Apr 20, 2025: One of our favorite Sunday meals! My wife ordered the teriyaki chicken and the Katsu chicken. I ordered the pork and pilehu chicken. Going to served in seconds with a smile that could brighten anyone's day. Of course, everything was delicious! Thank you for another wonderful experience.

030825: It was a cold and rainy day. We're looking for a nice warm meal. So here we came. Always serious with a smile and serve fast. We ordered the Ekolu....Pulehu chicken, Teriyaki chicken, and Chicken Katsu, with a side of Musubi. Oh man, was this a good warm meal! Best of all, the Manager came by to see if all was well. She's a bright smile on a dreary cold day.

020825: Another excellent experience! I forwarded the regular plate with Kahlua pig and Pulehu chicken. My wife ordered her normal Katsu and teriyaki chicken. All was served in seconds with a smile.

01/19/25: My wife ordered a regular plate with Teri and Katsu chicken. I ordered red plate with pulehu chicken and Teri chicken. All was served lightning fast with a smile. Loved the delicious food!

110324: We needed a quick Sunday lunch, and our wish was granted in no time. The service here is always impressively fast and friendly. I ordered the pulehu and t teriyaki chicken. My wife ordered double the teriyaki chicken. Everything arrived quickly, warm, and delicious. Thank you for another great experience at this restaurant!

080424: A good experience! My wife and I love eating here after church. My or did Cherry Chicken shrimp tomorrow with a tossed salad. My order to do hulahood chicken in the color of pig with Mac and rice. All was Sir quickly with a smile. Best of all we ate our food and enjoyed every single bit. Love your food, thank you being here!

0501224: We're trying to beat the crowd at today. My goodness for my nice clean dining room and super fast service. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and Teriyaki steak plate. My wife ordered the black pepper chicken and the teriyaki chicken. No surprise , We Love Teriyaki anything! It's always a pleasure for a visit here and a nice meal. Thank you staff for a good experience!

Well today was special. We came to the restaurant with much anticipation. We were quite pleased.

The decor was surf and beach-y. The music just right. Best of all, the teriyaki steak and chicken were my favorite. The Kailua pig was tender, but too salty. Overall, a. Good meal. And good experience.

My wife and I was shopping nearby and we were a bit hungry so I googled "Food near me" and Mo Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food was the first dynamic website that appeared. We love Hawaiian chicken teriyaki...and google rated at 4.7 out of 5.0, so we decided to check it out. We love that they have the menu concept on the wall close to the registers with the type of combinations of meat, rice, mac salad, etc. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by Joanne, at the front register, saying "ALOHA". From there she asked us if this was our first time visiting this restaurant that just opened in March of this year 2022...and we said "yes". She then walked to the menu on the wall and explained all the plate sizes along with food options at this establishment. We decided to order the Regular plate option with chicken teriyaki and katsu chicken and added he shrimp tempura....Wow. By the time we poured our beverages and walked to our table...our food was being delivered. Everything was delish!! The macaroni salad is on point with amazing flavor and both chicken dishes were tender and amazing... Folks, please show your love and try this amazing local restaurant...You won't be disappointed!! If I can rate 10 stars...just saying. Joanne and staff are the best customer experience in the Plano area by far. If you're a foodie you must visit Mo Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food!! Looks like their rating just jumped to 4.8 stars...

I was hesitant about coming to this place but I wanted to give it a try anyway but the moment I walked in and seen all white guys in the kitchen I was afraid that the flavors would not be right but I ordered anyway and about 20 minutes after waiting the cook came out and said he didn't have the katsu chicken because it's been a crazy day so he asked me if I wanted a different league and I told him I'll take the shrimp with the Kalua pork meanwhile people that came in after me work it in their food before me I originally ordered the Kalua Pig and katsu chicken with brown rice and no macaroni salad and I told them I wanted to eat it here after 30 minutes of waiting he brought me my food in a to-go bag and it had white rice instead of brown rice and it had the macaroni salad which I told him I did not want because it's made with mayonnaise and it got all over the other food also they gave me barbecue sauce out of a bottle which they serve to me cold and even the to go bag that he handed me was covered in grease because they couldn't take the time to clean their hands off before have them in the bag the shrimp that they gave me and place of the costume chicken was a frozen product that they just dropped in the fryer..... I will never ever come back to this place again the worst food and the crappiest service I have ever had they should just close the doors down and go out of business....they should change the name to Sucks...
