Padma's Kitchen — Restaurant in Plano

We were there last weekend. A large area of the floor in front of the refrigerators was totally wet with no signs or indications to caution about wet floor, causing my wife to slip and fall quite severely on the hard stone floor - she still has pain and we ended-up going to urgent care and incurred expenses there. The worst part is the older lady (likely the owner) came out and did not even apologize or show any concern, rather she seemed to be making excuses and blaming my wife's slipper (btw flat one with a rubber sole). Be CAREFUL if you have kids or older folks, if they fall and land on their bones or head there can be severe injuries. It would be in your best interest as well the customers, to fix the leaking refrigerator and appropriately inspect and clean wet floor and place appropriate signs, avoiding this real safety hazard!! The food was tolerable, but not worth this...

I'm not a resident of Dallas, but since someone suggested Padma's kitchen I went to pick up food from there to bring it back with us. The person who packed my food said pay $85. I gave him hundred with 5 bills of $20...I also said this is 100. He did not return me my change. When I asked he said you paid $85. I said I paid 100, he still said you paid 85. I said I counted money in front of all other customers and it is 100. The person next to me nodded, only then he returned me my change. The business is so successful, why cheat people..... And no it was not a sincere mistake....the person did this on purpose, because he did put all the bills I gave him in $20 pile in...

We drove all the way from Irving to Plano after hearing lot about padmas kitchen and after going through the great reviews we ordered 4 vegetable pulav's and 3 guttivankaya curry yesterday. Both orders were tasteless and all the cashews were burnt and full of just cloves , attached is the pic of the pulav. After eating some of it our stomach was completely upset the whole night. Seriously I cook way better food than what we bought from here. Waste of my money ,health and time. I doubt about the reviews.lesson learnt,dont go by reviews.
