I sent my husband to get two # 2 combos with mayo no mustard and two apple pies. I was on the phone when he was ordering and he specifically told her 2 number 2 combos with mayo no mustard, the lady repeated it and he said yes, I know this because I was on the phone while he was ordering and my phone records all my incoming and outgoing calls. So when he gets home I open it up and find a small Jr burger, small fries, small drink. I call and spoke to this lady and explained what happened. Her first response was ( you got what you paid for) I said excuse me!! That's not what I'm worried about, I told her , I specifically ordered #2 and got a Jr burger which is a # 8. She kept saying you got what u paid for.... I told her yeh but that's not what I ordered. I ask to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager, I told her I don't care if I spent 50.00 I wanted what I ordered. She was very rude and yes I lost my cool and she hung up on me, I called back and she answered again and I told her I wanted the number to her corporate, she said why, what did I do?. I told her not only did I not get the # 2 you also put mustard on our damn burgers after we said only mayo. She said your not going to talk to me like that and hung up. Ofcourse I called back she would not answer. Had she not made that smart ass remark about , I got what I paid for and just listen to what I was saying I would not be writing this long ass Review. Read moreI have eaten at Whataburger numerous times over the past several years in the Dallas area, but only recently installed the Rewards App. The Manager Sam has assisted me at this location the last 3 times I have visited. He answered all my questions, and is very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. This visit I had a coupon for a Free Bacon Blaze Jalapeno Double (Regular price $9.99) with the purchase of Md. Fries & a Md. Drink. No problem toasting the buns, and giving me Lettuce, Tomatoes, Jalapenos, Pickles, and Onions on the side. Everything was wonderful! A positive shout out for Lee, Steve, Parker, Shahab, Eric, Kevin, and everyone else who works in the kitchen. UPDATE: JANUARY 21, 2025. Austen was very knowledgeable with the App, helped me to customize my order, and was very patient. Sam checked to make sure everything was ok. It was. I'll be coming back soon. Read moreI don't eat take out very often, but I love their taquitos, for breakfast. The only issue is that if you don't go really early, the lines are long, sometimes out to the street.
Update: I know fast food places are short-handed, but that's never a reason to dismiss basic customer service. I would never complain about the long lines, but when that Crabbypants at the takeout mic says, "What" in a cross voice instead of "can I take your order?", then you know it's not going to get better. During the last two transactions, she never spoke a word except to give me the total. She holds out her hand for the money, & hands you your card back without comment. Never a smile. Doesn't matter how friendly or polite you are, it just makes her more cranky. She doesn't just hand you your food, she sort of opens the window & tosses it at you. Out of habit, I paused for a comment like "thank you," or anything, both times, but she just glares at you. I have a feeling that if I didn't move soon, she would start cursing or even come through the window at me. Don't go to this location if you actually remember what Whataburger used to be like, the smiles, the helpfulness, etc. That woman at the window will make you regret your very existence. I complained to corporate, but I'm sure they ignored it.
