Gross experience. Ordered 2 weeks ago at the drive through and took home. There was something disgusting all through the sandwich, with a rubbery, impossible to chew or even cut with a knife texture (they claimed they had no idea what it could be other than onions. There's nothing you can do to an onion to make it like that) I immediately called, and repeatedly called for the next 4 days with no answer. I was unable to return to Plant City until two weeks had passed, at which point they insisted I had to return the sandwich. If they had answered the phone when I called that night, maybe I would have been able to save the sandwich and make a special trip with it so they could dig through it and find this disgusting substance, but as it was I had taken a picture. After they implied I was making it up with "the picture could be anything" and claimed they must have a problem with their phones, they refused to offer anything and said it was too bad because it was "last month". Disgusted, I asked for the manager's phone number only to be given what seems to be a fake number that no one answers. I also asked for the contact for corporate and the girl who claimed to be "the manager" at the counter said they don't have that. Never heard of a manager who doesn't know how to contact their corporate office, at this point I know I am being lied to. So 1. disgusting substance in food that I could not identify, 2. bizarre expectations for a customer who has a problem with their food, with no ability to contact, 3. no ability for a customer who has a problem with their food to reach the restaurant and warn them something is wrong. 4. Read moreI placed an order for lunch for myself and my employees today. I sent my assistant to pick up the order with a copy of the order confirmation clearly showing our order & the choice for instore pickup. Upon arrival, not even 15 minutes after order placement, my assistant was told 1st there was no order. 2nd when shown the confirmation they said we chose delivery, which is completely false as aforementioned confirmation shows otherwise. 3rd upon proof they were incorrect on matters listed in 1&2, they told him our order was picked up by “some girl”. 4th they told my assistant there was nothing they could do and the order screen shot was not acceptable to offer resolution. 5th the manager never came out. 6th I called 5x and no one answered the phone.
This is unacceptable customer service and business practice overall. Not only were they rude and dismissive to my assistant they basically told us to kick rocks and live without the food or a refund. The fact that the manager never came out to advise is one thing, them not answering the phone is a whole other level of ridiculous.
Obviously ill be charging this cost back through my credit card, but the lack of customer service and appreciation is abhorrent. We are now eating lunch from elsewhere more than an hour later due to this nonsense. I will make sure myself, my company, my friends and my employees steer completely clear of the Plant...
Read moreWent there today at 12:30. A line of people standing outside the door. They said the door was locked. The doordash guy left, others went back to their cars. The two emplyees inside, male and female were helping the drive thru. The female looked directly at me outside the door. I walked to the drive thru and asked why the door was locked. She said it wasnt. Yes it is and you dont see all the people outside? She unlocks it and people come from their cars. Go inside and an elderly couple is eating at a table. The couple ahead of us were told by the female that she cant take a credit card, so they paid cash. I give her my order including the new tangerine lemonade as advertised on the front door. She gives me blank stare and said they dont have that. I asked if they take credit cards. She said yes and I paid. My wife and I just laughed. The two teenage boys behind us waited twenty minutes for their food. No napkins anywhere and when I told the male he just said "I know". The garbage can was over flowing. Obviously was not emptied from the night before which tells me the floors were probably not scrubbed. The food is good but service is a disaster. The two employees obviously could not handle more customers so locked the door. Two days previous my daughter said one employee was inside and she had similiar encounter.
