GameStop — Local services in Plant City

I wished that I could give 0 stars. I currently own a PS5 Disc edition and it stopped working. I visited my local game stop to purchase a new console JUST IN CASE my current one was not repairable. Luckily, my current one was fixed, and I went to this store to return the UNOPENED console. At time of sale, my wife and I traded in 202.70 worth of items and spent money on top of that for the console. We had planned to keep it as a back up and only open in case of need. We visited, and a man named Rafael was working. I told him I needed to return the console as it was not needed. He looked at the box for a few moments and proceeded to tell me that it was opened. He came back with a box cutter, opened the console and told me that he could only do a trade in. THE BOX WAS SEALED WITH THE STICKER!! He argued with me through almost all of the interaction, and claimed there were fingerprints on the console after he handled it, further saying that it was opened. We lost 200 dollars in trade in that we wouldn’t have even brought in if we knew this would happen. What’s sad is that, since the console was unopened and ACTUALLY NEW, the store will most likely sell it as new despite taking it as a trade. This man is a poor representative of a company that I have spent thousands with since I was a young teen. I hope that Game Stop will make it right before I decide to never give a dollar of my money to...

I bought my son an Xbox for his birthday that’s in December! I haven’t opened it at all and he told me he changed his mind he wants a PlayStation. I went in and explained this to Bill who was working and he said nothing he can do for me because it’s been over 30 Days! Needless to say I won’t be back to Gamestop EVER again!! I stick to my word because I told sprint this when the screwed me in 2005 and I haven’t given them a cent and won’t GameStop either!!!! You treat people like this there will eventually be another Gaming store that puts you out of business!!! Karma!!! You got $310 of my money but could have had more with us buying games ... stupid business move in...

I actually take my son here at least once a month I've been to the one on Causeway the people there are not that bad I've been to the one in Plant City the prices are a lot better but a couple of them are a little on the roadside whatever I mean I'm spending money there my son wants to ask a question he stood online just like everybody else and when he gets up to ask a question you're going to rush him along because you have paying customers that's why we didn't buy anything that died because the gentleman behind the counter gave us a vibe that he didn't want to help he just wanted to bring up...
