Michaels — Local services in Plant City

Great store! Can usually find craft things I need. Love it! This is an update..I still love the store but have a complaint..their website shows for this store that they sell fabric by the yard. I was so excited to see that because they never did before. So I go there can't find the fabric besides the 4ft by 4ft little "craft fabric". Showed on their website you can order from that store and pick it up example: disney fabric. I brought my little neice so she could pick out the fabric so I could make her a dress. I was so disappointed. The website is a lie. An employee explained to me they don't have those on the website. I literally had to pull up the website to show her I wasn't seeing things lol. I couldn't find the company's email address to write the top so I'm complaint thru this review. I'm very disappointed. Was so excited to finally have a place to buy fabric other than walmart.. did anyone else know this that the website is a lie for the Walden lake...

I have never experienced such unprofessional customer service at a management level . I was approached by a young man selling candy to help his family prior to entering the store. I did not have change on me so I told him after my purchase at Michaels I’d get change and buy one. When paying for my items I asked the cashier to break a $5. He called over a supervisor to come open the drawer , as she approached the register she said they are not a bank . What kind of response is that ? So I told her find ring me up a candy so you can give me change. Then the manager came over and said they’d do it this time ! I never realized the trouble it’d be for them to break a $5 , I wasn’t asking them to break $100, all because I wanted to help a young man selling candy . Michaels needs to improve the customer service training they give their employees ....

Stay away. Store is staffed 100% with social justice warriors and they would rather spend their time worrying about everything but being polite and respectful to customers. Even the manager is disrespectful and rude. America will wake up from the faux nightmare of the so called pandemic. Most of us will go back to ordering online to avoid dealing with snooty hourly employees. You work at Michael's, why are you so condescending to customers. Well my money will go to Hobby Lobby. I have yet to meet a rude person there. I also have learned to shop more on Etsy, eBay, and Amazon, because I would rather wait a few days than go back...
