I love Ross. The selection is decent and the prices are good. My issue is with the staff, and mainly the manager at the Plant City location. I stopped by on my lunch break from work, quickly founded what I needed, and proceeded to the checkout. There were 8 people in line (two with heaping carts of purchases) and one person working a register. I spent 19 minutes in the line waiting to checkout and was fuming that another registered hadn't been opened as other employees could see the line. The manager came to the front to dismiss an employee for her break/lunch and then strode straight to the back of the store while ignoring the line. During my wait in line, a man picked up something from the jewelry counter and walked swiftly out the door with it. The alarm blared for several minutes without a single employee reacting and the young man at the register (knowing he wasn't supposed to walk away from the register) finally reluctantly walked to the entrance and deactivated the alarm. When I got to the register and mentioned it, he said it was a horrible place to work and he already had another job lined up. Manager is a failure for this store!! OUTSTANDING ! DUE to Him, I bought 2 pairs of sneakers and 2 pairs of pants ! I went in for one pair of Sneaks. Make him a Manger, or Ill steal him from you and make him one in my Company. Note: Hector is also TOP NOTCH, Honest, I had left my Phone on the seat at which I was trying on those very Sneakers afortmentioned...he hunted me down in the store to return my Phone to me. She should not be working in the front checking customers out if she is going to be so rude. 1st I asked her a price for an item that did not have stickers on it. She got an attitude about that. Then I paid with cash she really had no change in her register and I told her I wanted my change, she got an attitude about that. She gave me 50 cent in pennies that was rolled, she almost unrolled it and I said no since it is rolled and I'm not counting 50 pennies.. Icing on the cake. She did not take off the ink thing on a hoodie I bought my kid so I have to make an unnecessary trip back to that store. Thankfully I kept the receipt as I normally throw it away.
