Snellgrove's Restaurant — Restaurant in Plant City

Horrible and Disgusting!! What a bad experience... Got there on a Sunday literally 2 minutes after 11 am. We wanted Breakfast but we were told that breakfast ended at 11...What?! it is literally 2 minutes past and they say NO exceptions. So we order lunch. While waiting (FOREVER) we are sitting at the bar in front of the pick up window. We watch while breakfast after breakfast after breakfast come out for everyone else. They haven't even started our lunch yet. So as we wait I can see a lady in the back rubbing her nose with her gloves on and handling the food! I get a bit grossed out because its happening over and over in front of me. I call someone over to let them know and they tell me that they will have a talk with her later. LATER!?! Finally after a good 30 minutes or so, our lunch comes out. It is GROSS! I am almost certain it was all in the fridge from the previous day. the plate is hot and the food is cold to the touch. My microwave experience tells me this plate was put in a microwave and heated up. I told the waitress about this and she took my plate back and withing a minute or two she brought it back to me and everything was hot.= MICROWAVE. I did not eat most of it because it was gross. still payed $12 for a plate of nasty. I wrote on yelp about it and later got a response from the store manager. basically she was not apologizing but turning it back on me like I was the problem. So here I am to tell you all my experience and let you make up your own mind. If you do go there and you have a similar experience....all I can say is...I told you so....Eat at your own risk...if they don't care about your health...

This restaurant is horrible. I ordered the chicken liver with mash potatoes and gravey and selected the salad bar option. First, their salad bar had very few options for toppings which really dissapointed me because I looove a good salad bar. But that was not the worse, the chicken livers had a funny taste and lacked seasoning. You can taste that the mash potatoes were not homemade but the instant box kind and the gravey did not taste homemade either, like it came out of a packet and might of been sitting there for awhile. The entire meal was horrible and greatly lacked seasoning. Even my partner complained about her chicken breast being so bland and dry along with the mash potatoes. Only positive thing about this place is the kind sweet lady behind the cash register who took our order and all. Loved talking with her and she made us smile and laugh but the food was a major down side. Will definitely NOT advised any one to eat here unless your on...

Me and my girlfriend love little diners like this. I love supporting our local communities, but this restaurant was absolutely horrible and we didnt even receive our food. We arrived at 9:20 am and waited until 11:00 am before we said anything when we did ask where our food was the waitress very shortly retorted "oh it is in the window." we sat there for another 30 minutes before we left. There were atleast 5 couples we counted who had gotten there after us who had been fed and were eating. Then the fact that she said its in the window and we waiting another 30 min shows that she was inconsiderate to not even check on our food. We both ordered omelettes. How long do they take? Well we went to Charlies diner in Lakeland apparently it takes 5 min from when I give an order to receive a fully loaded omelette. Charlie's was much cheaper too I might add. Horrible experience will never go again and I will suggest to everyone I know not to go...
