If i could give zero stars I would. I ordered a bazooka bowl with brown cilantro rice and was handed this. Very clearly not a bazooka bowl and it’s yellow rice, not brown. My partner ordered a regular chopchop with yellow rice. He was given brown rice. The employee gave me a rude face when I came in and didn’t even give me a receipt. This is absolutely unacceptable. Also, what I was given is dry and unappetizing. I’m looking at other reviews and seeing now that this is a recurring problem with the night staff. Apparently if you arrive after a certain time, they take it upon themselves to give the worst customer service possible, making the customer feel bad for coming in at all. The staff was rude, unwelcoming, and did not even come close to giving us the correct order. Maybe this location should consider a change of nighttime staff.

Just ordered original chop chop, salad with chicken and balsamic tomatoes. When he handed me the original chop chop, it is literally a half bowl of rice with half cup (he actually put the chicken in the little half cup to measure it) it looked pitiful! I asked him, Is that it?? He snipped- That's what you ordered! Paid $11.50 for Literally $2 worth of rice + chicken. Since that meal was for my husband, I went to Publix next door and got extra chicken to make it a lunchtime meal. The balsamic tomatoes were super mushy, as though they were a few days over. Soooo disappointed. My office and family loved what they use to be. I suppose me being the only customer at lunch time should have gave me a warning.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chicken Kitchen Plantation and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, and the ambiance was just perfect for a casual meal. Now, let's talk about the food—absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection, juicy on the inside with a crispy, flavorful exterior. You can really tell that they use fresh ingredients and take pride in their cooking. I tried the guacamole, and it was bursting with flavor. The sides were equally impressive, with the cilantro garlic sauce being a particular standout.

I wish I could give zero stars.

This used to be a 4 star location on Google!! They have changed owners sadly. Used to be locally owned by some really nice Latinos who knew the style of food well.

Now, everything has a surcharge - brown rice, charge - upped the price on the entrees, lowered quality of chicken (it’s all dry now and over cooked) - and surcharge for substitutions of vegetables..doesn’t even make sense.

Costumer service is worse than the new price changes. Can’t understand them through their thick island accents, and they had trouble understanding English in general.

Considering they have competition of Chicken Kitchen locations, as well as Pollo Tropical and Chipotle, I was hoping they’d have stepped up their game. Instead it seems they just want to tank the franchise - at least this location for sure!

I’m going to give the location on Flamingo Rd. a shot, hoping they’re different owners.

I hate saying this because I love the Chicken Kitchen franchise (I grew up with it!!), but save yourself $10+ and go somewhere else for lunch/dinner. What a mess. Explains the dip in their star rating for their Google reviews.

What a scam of a location now. This is not Chicken Kitchen quality or...

Let me just start off by saying, I have not been to this location in years. I decided to go today because it was convenient and en route to my destination. While ordering, a woman came in asking for a pen. The woman making my bowl did not understand what she was saying, so I assisted and translated it to Spanish for her. The woman making my bowl was rude in responding to her say I don’t know what she is saying. She then proceeded to ignore the woman asking for the pen even after I had clearly translated it. The woman asking for a pen was inquiring about the hiring sign on the door. That was when what appeared to be the manager came around the corner and rudely said we are not hiring. My interaction after all of this was when I was paying for my food and the same woman that was making my bowl was badgering me and bombarding me to tip her. I was definitely reminded why I have not been there in years and why the new location in davie will ALWAYS be the better option. And pertaining to the actual food, it is always just ok. They are always rationing food from what I can see and being stingy with the portions....

Don't recommend. Absolute no customer service at this location. Ordered food through Uber Eats, and when it was delivered, half of the order was wrong. I called the Chicken Kitchen and explained their mistake. They proceeded to ask me if I could bring the food back. Then stated had no driver's available, and basically said there wasn't anything else they could do but give me Uber Eats number. Now, I understand they don't deliver themselves, but, to not even recognize the mistake first, or offer an apology, and skip over customer service, is unprofessional. I'm just in disbelief of the lack of ownership. I've spent enough money over the years, especially during college, at this chain. I think I deserve at least a 'my bad.' Either they gave my Uber driver someone else's order, or just didn't care to read half the order. Either way, it's simply lazy. A large percentage of dining in or getting something delivered, is on the experience and customer service. You just failed both....
