I recently visited Vicky Bakery, and it was a delightful experience. I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting aroma of freshly baked goods. The bakery has a cozy and charming atmosphere, with a well-organized display of a wide variety of pastries, cakes, and Cuban treats.

I decided to try their famous pastelitos and they did not disappoint. The pastry was perfectly flaky, and the guava filling was sweet and tangy, striking just the right balance. Absolutely done with this place. I’ve been coming to this bakery for a while, and the service has gotten worse every single time. What’s most frustrating is that the manager is consistently the worst part of the experience rude, unprofessional, and clearly doesn’t care. The rest of the staff is actually great, but she drags the whole place down.

Today was the last straw. I called FIVE times to place an order, and when someone finally answered, I couldn’t hear a thing. I gave up and went in person, only to find the manager on the phone having a personal conversation while ignoring everyone around her. After waiting 35 minutes for my order (keep in mind, I was literally the second customer of the day at 7 a.m.!), they told me it hadn’t even been started.

No apology. No explanation. Just the manager glaring at me like I was the problem for interrupting her phone call. Completely unacceptable.
