Fetterman's — Restaurant in Platte City

Definitely overpriced for the food I received. Ordered an Italian sub this time. The girl taking my order was pleasant, but the 2 girls making the food were not. The one who is always there stares at you when you order, no smile. And if you make any changes to sandwiches...seems put out. I asked for no tomato, extra pepperchini's & extra Italian dressing on the side. I received hard dried out peppers...that I had to take off bcuz they were disgusting. And there was hardly ANY dressing on my sandwich, and I paid extra for the side...and that was only 1/4 full! But it had no favor anyways. Just tasted like olive oil. The bread is awful. It's soft...but chewy. Just doesn't go well with an Italian sub. They need Italian bread..which is crispy but soft on the inside. So I paid $13.89 for a 8inch crap sandwich. Jimmy John's would have been way better. I have went before, because there's not much selection in Platte City unfortunately. I have ordered the meatball sub. It was bland. And again...the bread was awful. I've ordered the soup as well. Which was good. But almost $8 for a small cup?! Ridiculous. Everything is overpriced. So it's sad...but until they match their food and service with their proces...I won't be back. I'll pay $15 for a good sandwich and good customer service. Not a young woman glaring at me from behind the counter that puts out mediocre...

💥💥💥1-16-24 Today was the 2 time since Dec that my (5) sandwiches were not made to order, not even close... Who only puts 6 olives and 3 banana peppers on a sandwich... I even asked for extra!...honestly for the money these sandwiches cost they should be made exactly the way you ask... No questions...It's was almost like it was done on purpose because I asked for extra... Learned a lesson today ALWAYS TAKE YOUR SANDWICH OUT AT THE REGISTER AND CHECK THEM THERE, and if the owner is not here making sandwiches DONT STOP!!! Eat somewhere else!!! I don't think I'll recommend Fetterman's anymore and it will be a long time before I ever spend another dime here... (We were refunded but we should never had to ask for one!)

😁👍WOW!!! This is how a deli should be... The sandwiches were perfect,( made just the way you like) the service was outstanding... I would drive out of my way to eat here and definitely recommend this place to anyone who love a perfect...

It's great chow......but pricey. Most of that is going to seen and unseen labor costs. I didn't appreciate whatever special charm the family staff has on others, so I'm still feeling like I waaaaay overpaid. I'll look for Boar's Head products on market shelves, though. Pretty decent cured meats. There's a bohemian attempt with some ecclectia, memorabilia, novelties....but not a newspaper or a book shelf in sight. The deck of cards must have been left out for the kids. I didn't see board games. I did see a lot of packaged products for sale, though. Again. Good chow. Pricey. Crappy service. For Platte City, that's worth 3 stars. Culvers gets 4. Waffle house gets the 5. Yes. Platte City is an easy place to make an impression. For the price, we ought to feel more welcome and appreciated to these kids. They'll get it when it's...
