You all need to figure out this coupon thing before you start churning customers who have been loyal to their locally owned Pizza Shoppe for 40+ years. It's pretty horrible that you are making employees try to explain it by pointing to a laminated sheet of paper saying that the "buy a king specialty, get a single topping free (no size specified) has been discontinued"... but either the bulletin or the website is INCORRECT.
It's true the the free single topping queen is no longer a valid coupon, as it is no longer on the website. However, it was replaced with a "Free Prince Pizza (single topping) with purchase of any King Size Specialty Pizza". That coupon is live on the website and is "Good At All Locations".
So either "corporate" needs to update their website and take down their offer, or the "we are sorry" bulletins need to specify that it is only the Queen offer that has been discontinued.
Ownership has some updates that need making before forcing their employees to point to a bulletin at the point of sale and having awkward conversations with a customer in front of the whole restaurant. Customers shouldn't have to be put in the situation to prove that the offer is indeed valid and on the website live, and employees shouldn't have to be put in the situation to stand their ground and insinuate that the customer is wrong.

Read moreWe're driving past this location to a different Pizza Shoppe. Other PSs serve the cracker crust pizzas.
Saw the review about "when the manager is there." We totally agree.
Have been back and miss the cracker crust pizza. The change to more of a chewy crust and more sauce is not a fave. Hopefully this is only this store otherwise I'll be looking for a different pizza joint.
Stopped here to get a quick dinner before an evening flight out of town. Called ahead so we wouldn't have to wait long. Pizza came out of the oven just as we were seated. We were able to dine leisurely with no worries about catching the flight. Waitress was prompt and courteous. On top of drink refills. Apparently the store had an A/C mishap - well managed with a portable unit even with a full store on a hot day/evening. Which pizza did we order? Large 1/2 hamburger and 1/2 pepperoni. With salads it fed 3 adults,...
Read moreI have to say the pizza at Pizza Shoppe is good. I really enjoy the pizza, But it’s a bit hyped up. If you like Pizza, I know a really good place in Omaha... look at my review, can’t miss it. When I first went there I hadn’t realized it was a franchise, but it’s x20 times better than the Pizza Hut down the street btw. The customer service, I really don’t like.. the lady at the front (skinny, maybe black haired girl) who I’m sure is the owner (her attitude and demeanor lead me to believe she owns it) can come off as a little pretentious AND the pizza is usually $20-25. I’m pretty perceptive when it comes to people and based on her I stopped visiting the shoppe. The guys and younger girls are cool people.. But, I now make my very own pizza(2) at home for less than $15 and it adds that extra spark of love to pizza and movie nights with the wife, which gets Pizza Shoppe a 2nd Star! They helped my...
