Wendy's — Restaurant in Platte City

I will not ever be returning to this location despite the convenience of location. Staff was rude, lacks basic customer service skills. They gave fries that were so old they were brown thru and thru. The fact that I only ordered fries and nothing else it’s not good to hand that out. When I went up to the counter and asked if I could please have some fresh fries there was no of course. Yes I’m sorry. Let me get that for you. Absolutely nothing. Just grab the bag. Dumped it and went to go get fries no conversation with me. They were almost mad that I was even there as a customer and trying to get food. I don’t know how they expect to keep a job if they don’t have customers. Even the manager that was working that shift yesterday morning didn’t care about a damn thing going on. They just wanted to be silly and be amongst them selves and not care about any customers. The place also smells like crap and is extremely dirty. Given that reason alone I might not have returned based on the cleanliness but the service and the food quality. It was just a no-brainer that this is not a place that any family...

The food here is always really good and the service has been in the past but not today. I placed an online order and a coworker went to pick it up for me as well as order lunch for himself. He didn’t know he had to tell them when ordering that he had an online order and told them at the pick up window. The employee was very rude to him and then the manager overheard and came over and was rude as well. She rolled her eyes at him and said to the employee that she didn’t understand why people couldn’t figure out what to do for online orders right in front of him. Poor management skills and poor customer service. Extremely disappointed especially since I work in customer service and am a manager myself. I understand being frustrated but we are regular customers and he had never picked up an online order before and didn’t know he had to tell them when he placed his order. No customer deserves to be treated so rudely especially when they are being polite and just didn’t know the procedure for that...

I love this place. I got tired of eating just slapped together food at McDonald’s and lousy fries so I decided to give Wendy’s a try. The fries are WAY better especially when fresh, way more flavor and salted greatly! The people working always make my food fresh when requested and they seem to be very nice people. I literally never leave reviews but they have been nothing but perfect for me. Saucy nuggs are my Fav right now btw. I would definitely recommend here over the McDonald’s in platte city and some of the other restaurants like Burger King. I cannot fathom how much I appreciate the people here and the kindness these employees have. When my car got stuck, without asking, employees came out to assist me and helped me move my car. Isn’t that amazing!!!? Not much places like that anymore/at all. I will continue going to Wendy’s and I wish I knew how good some of their food was earlier so I could have been enjoying it a lot longer! 10/10 location and staff! Thank you and...
