The current, longtime owner, Guy (Gaetano), gives his all to a strong, fair business owner to his clients, his workers and himself. He relishes being a restauranteur and his adult son John Paul and Erica do, too. The meaning of true family and their commitment to their Italian heritage is authentic. Gaetano is not "Carmelo", his older brother- the brother who owns the franchise Melo’s. Carmelo came to USA in the 70s, with hidden, unscrupulous, greed-ridden, jealousy and deadly superiority issues that never ceased. His hidden goals of wealth and personal superiority—all at the severest inhumane expense to specific innocent human targets —without any provocation-- continued to be his specific goals. His hidden criminal strategies & activities always steps ahead: a few factors allowing him to succeed with criminality. Since the 60s, making certain his wife, daughters be “superior to others” by severely, continuously harming---without provocation--- unsuspecting, trusting, integrity-filled specific people so that his immediate family would “succeed and appear to be superior in success in all aspects of their lives ” was/has been his continuous focus. Carmelo could not tolerate he had a beautiful older sister who had a simple, kind, giving, very hardworking husband. He could not tolerate their three unique-- life-loving, leadership driven, intelligent hardworking—integrity-filled daughters. He increasingly isolated his oldest niece to inflict repeated inhumane severe harm in the severest ways: his inability to handle exceptional qualities in others and since she was oldest granddaughter. He directly & indirectly inflicted evil, unstoppable victimization for decades, the inevitable pain, trauma and pure unstoppable shattering and re-shattering of lives, the unexpected, $100, 000s and millions of dollars of costs to his specific lifelong targets. Unknown to Californian taxpayers, he has—also--- successfully detoured millions of dollars of criminal investigations--to ensure never being rightfully prosecuted or incarcerated. Making certain from the 1970s and for decades onward, that he unscrupulously criminalized factual victims was and has continued to be another criminal strategy: his intentionally fabricating and informing law enforcement of appallingly false identities, characteristics, and traits, of his victims—as well as criminalizing the factual victimization and inevitable victimization results. Carmelo knowingly fabricated criminal identities that were the factual opposite identities of his older sister, her husband and their three daughters.Police continued to generate inaccurate police reports=Carmelo and deviant males as the “reliable information sources”. His oldest niece only experienced unfathomable physical and sexual violence—not only hideous, unstoppable deceptive experiences with male persons: teenage years onward due to his fabricated and shared “false identity of her”. The purely false verbal wildfire that “she was promiscuous, drug, sex, love addicted ensured she would consistently experience intimidation &/or violence-fully, unwanted, sexual events every week—for decades. All this exponentially cemented the inevitable, inhumane terror and unfathomable unbreakable disbelief for decades, decades. In 2000s, his oldest sister was forced against her will---to verbally record purely false---fabricated content—the intent to permanently camouflage decades of unfathomable victimization on his specific victim targets. Carmelo’s success in never being prosecuted? He has always camouflaged the inevitable and intentional trauma and continued shattering of his specific victims’ lives as “their being inferior, weak criminal people”. This was the worst dining experience and food I have ever eaten. I take my family out for a special time together and I felt like I took them to eat at the chow line at a prison The pizza comes cold. I took a second glance and I immediately Thought “ is this un eaten pizza from domino’s dumpster in back? It tasted like cardboard. I mean horrendous. Extremely un appealing to look at as well

It was as if someone poored canned sauce on sa cardboard box and said have a slice

I thought i was eating a pizza box not a pizza. Actually the box would have tasted better How can you serve such garbage and charge what you do? Listen it was so bad that if they said come back tomorrow and anything you want is free. Id say noooooo. Im good If they said you have a lifetime of free food from here Id pass without hesitation

Pizza at the gas station is better. Thats not a joke

Ive never seen such a poor presentation of food at a restaurant.

The four main entrees arrive 20 min after the pizza. Those of us that were just eating pizza were all done eating. Ready to leave before the others in our party received there food

When it did it was horrible. How to you ruin pasta? It was beyond under cooked and the sauce was poor.

Honestly Im not trying to be that guy but this was a total disgrace. The bill was 220 dollars. Times are tough and taking a big family out these days is hard. And when you do its special family time

But to be served garbage and pay over 200.

I would have mentioned all of this to the waiter but hes a young kid and none of this was his fault. In fact its horrible they put this kid in the position to explain why food comes out at 20 min intervals

He said the kitchen was backed up but it was clear whoever is running the kitchen needs to be let go. The cooks. Let them go.

If I owned this place I would be ashamed ripping families off by serving people food from the dumpster in back. I mean really.

How does this guy keep these locations running with amateur service,food,and prices

We ordered Calamari. It was not cooked properly. Not even close. The dip was disgusting. Everything they cook must be out of a can.

I can guarantee everyone in that place was saying the same thing. On the way out I overheard two separate tables very upset over the same issues im speaking about

The people Im most upset with are at Davino’s because for a family pizza and italian food joint its extremely good and worth the money with a way better environment and dining experience

initially we were headed there however they were closed Leaving us with the very bad decision of going to Melos

I should be complaining to Devinos for abandoning us

But the final straw was I immediately got sick to my stomach when I walked out to leave. It must have been from the Calamari not being cooked properly. And when I say sick to my stomach I mean a volcano in my belly and a frantic dash to find a toilet

This is not a slam on a restaurant like a Karen would do. This review is to warn others and to wake up the owners before they go out of bussiness

I didnt ask to speak with manager because I honestly can only put blame on the owners who clearly could care less about serving quality food and providing...

Worst experience I’ve ever encountered. Ordered food through the website, choose delivery and then it went back to pick up. Called the restaurant and after speaking to a kind woman at the front desk we canceled the order and we’re told to reorder. We re ordered thinking maybe we made the mistake. 1 hour later no food and we get a notification to come pick it up. I called to speak to the manager who said he was the owner (Fabio) to ask where our food was. We have a screen shot proving we chose delivery and when the arrival time would be. Fabio who turns out to be the GM literally told me “you have to come pick it up then” mind you, we lost a very close family member hours prior and all we wanted to do was be in our home and not cook dinner considering the circumstances. The GM was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to at a restaurant. He then spoke to my husband after yelling at me and repeating “I can’t do anything about you need to come pick up” never once did he apologies for what his restaurant did at NO fault of our own. I then pressed into him saying no way he was owner and spoke to people this way, he then told me the owners name and said it was his cousin and good luck speaking with him as the owner is family and he won’t do anything to him for his poor behavior. I even said you know I’m not even looking to get anyone in trouble I would have been good with an apology and a refund. Of course he couldn’t apologized and he most certainly didn’t refund us. So now on a tremendously hard day, we have no dinner, I was shaking after speaking (being yelled at by this man) and have been charged.

Melos food is amazing no doubt about and I’ve never once had an issue but this man who is the GM won’t resolve an issue at not fault of ours and furthermore then lied to us and said our order isn’t there door dash picked it up (we didn’t order through door dash) it’s now been almost 2 hours. No food, money taken twice and discouraged and upset to be treated so poorly.

To be fair I’m sorry I yelled back at the guy after he refused to help or deliver or refund...
