Pho Viet — Restaurant in Pleasant Hill

I've ordered takeout from Pho Viet several times now, and it never disappoints. My go-to is the grilled beef with garlic noodles, always paired with an egg roll on the side—and it's fantastic every time. The portion size is just right for a satisfying, well-rounded meal. I love that they include fresh veggies like carrots and lettuce at the bottom, which adds a nice balance to the dish.

The beef is always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the garlic noodles are packed with flavor. And trust me, the egg roll is a must—crispy, flavorful, and the perfect finishing touch.

The staff are always super friendly when I stop by to pick up my order, which makes the experience even better. I’m really looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu, especially the pho, which I’ve heard great things...

This place was recommended to me by my nail tech at Teamwork Nail Salon. Very cute and casual, family friendly restaurant. The Bun Bo Huey was incredible! It was SO GOOD and just the right amount of spice. The cubed steak dish was delicious and we shared as an appetizer. The Jasmine tea was steeped to perfection. My daughter had the kids chicken pho and it was just shredded chicken, noodles, and broth. This is one of the worst Pho I ever had and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We ordered three takeouts of Pho (2 Chicken + Meatballs), but the ingredients were far from fresh. The basil was spoiled, the lemon had a foul odor, and the broth was extremely diluted. Chicken Pho came with shredded chicken instead chicken pieces and mixed with cabbage :( . The broth was so watered down that it felt like they were stretching one portion into three. Overall, the quality was severely lacking, and I won't be ordering...
