KAMUROCHO — Restaurant in Pleasanton

It's not shaved ice, it's not bingsoo, it's kakigori here! 😍

I've been searching so long for a new kakigori place since my fave in Millbrae closed. KAMUROCHO does not disappoint!

They have four flavors at the moment: matcha, tiramisu, mango, and kinako. Something for everyone! They also had coffee drinks available, but I skipped those this time.

We ordered the tiramisu and matcha. I'm so I. Love with the delicate, fluffy ice texture. The tiramisu has a treasure trove of coffee jelly in the middle and the matcha has red bean in the middle! The dessert was perfectly sweet for me, not too much and not too little.

Parking here was pretty easy on a Saturday afternoon. Can't wait...

Fully deserving of 5 stars, Kamurocho delivered with the popular "Honeycomb Latte" and "Tiramisu Shaved Ice". The former featured hard, crunchy homemade honeycomb candy on top, and the Latte itself was flavorful without being bitter or overly sweet. The latter was light as air with wonderful flavor, also not overly sweet, had a Lotus Biscoff biscuit perched on the side, and hid jelly with cake soaked in flavored cream waiting like a surprise at the bottom. As for the staff they were super sweet and tailored the latte to my 11 year old's...

The tiramisu kakigori was perfectly refreshing, and the coffee jelly inside was a nice surprise. Can’t wait to come back and try the hojicha kakigori and lattes!

Edit: This has been my go-to place for hojicha lattes and finely shaved ice for the past 4 years in east bay. I’m so sad to hear about the lease renewal issues and am greatly looking forward to Kamurocho’s future endeavors ❤️
