Nation's Giant Hamburgers — Restaurant in Pleasanton

I'm a big fan of Nation's Giant Hamburgers, yet my last two experiences here have not been pleasant. I ordered a grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich togo both times.

The first time I ordered the sandwich, I got home to see that the sandwich was burnt, causing the taste to be bitter. I live 40 minutes away so I can't go back to return it. I thought it was an honest mistake so I left it at that.

When I ordered the same sandwich today, I expected it to be grilled perfectly. Instead, I get home and find myself another burnt sandwich.

I didn't want to take apart the wrapped paper to see if the sandwich looked good, and then not be able to wrap it back neatly. But it seems I should open the packaging and check next time if I choose to go back.

As for service, for togo orders, there is no one to attend at the pickup counter. I had to call out for help after waiting several minutes, when my food was all packed and ready to go. Also, the food takes FOREVER to make, so it's good to plan ahead or order online. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait for you because it wasn't for me. Maybe I will try again after a break at a...

This place has a great quality and food. As a Giants fan I believe their front logo was very well chosen. The decor, and the indoor were not the best, as it looked like it was outdated and old. The chairs were a bit stiff, and the lights weren't turned on because there was no light bulbs. The rooms were dimly lit, due to the nonfunctioning lights. The service was alright! However the interior was really outdated, and the condiments looked also a bit on the older side. However, their food makes up for that! Their food was delicious, and everything tasted so amazing! Their cheeseburger or their bacon cheeseburger all taste great! Their chili fries are also good, and their onion rings were decent! Their food completely makes up for the outdated and old decor, however their food omg it was the best! Highly recommend the food, but only if you're taking out for takeout, or just quickly stopping by, as the interior was not in the best shape. Their pies was also very good, I extremely suggest the banana pudding!...

Too bad a new cook very bad. Flavor bad grill was too high to make a good egg. Too raw inside and crusty brown on the surface. Raw raw raw, white milky and runny. Burnt toast made all the other pieces taste burned. Judith we love you. I wish you didn't have to be on the register now. Your food is precise and other cook sloppy mean and talks back.
