Martini's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Plymouth

This negative review, originally, would have directed to the bartender Holly, until we contacted the owner to let him know about the most deplorable service ever experienced. The owner barely listened to my complaints and explanation of how poorly Holly treated us. I can only imagine the story she told him. If he or any kind of manager had been on site Holly would have been fired right then. We first waited over 10 min at her bar before she acknowledged we were there! She didn’t even ask if we wanted a drink!! Yet went to the other end of the bar to chit-chat and serve “friends”. After another 10 min she returned to ask if we wanted a drink, 1 beer, 1 red wine, she served my beer but forgot what was the other drink. It went down hill from there. After ordering 2 meals she served only mine and disappeared. After another 20 min we had to “wave” her down from the other end of the bar to find where the second meal was. She became so indignant and Rude even after she checked her computer to find it was her mistake but blamed the situation on us. Then she ran away - somewhere. Long story short, the second meal was never served!!!! By now we had been there 1 1/2 hrs. When we asked for the check, she was so disrespectfully vocal, her “drunk friends” at the bar turned on us! Holly , threw us out and threatened to call the police! UNBELIEVABLE!! I’ve managed restaurants before and seeing what went on with the entire staff around the bar I’d believe the “friends” were drinking for free. To the owner Joe Perette - maybe have “Bar Rescue”...

I went to Martini's on a Tuesday night for Jazz. I wasn't totally disappointed. The music was amazing. The service was great until dinner landed then it fell off considerably. The appetizers were all equally fantastic. I recommend the parm chicken fingers. The entree's were a mixed bag though. My Haddock was cooked to perfection, very tender and juicy, yet came off very bland. I feel like they forgot a sauce or something. Perhaps the dish was spoiled by very zesty appetizers. One of my companions had an avocado on his dish that wasn't fit to be served to humans. Very hard and crunchy in a way that avocados should never be. My other two companions had amazing dinners. Local plymouthian. Haven’t been for 2yrs because of bad service. Went tonight, we are bar people, got seats at bar but the bartender couldn’t even make eye contact at any point during our stay. Ordered apps bottle wine and dinner. Had to flag food food runner for fresh pepper and glasd of h2o. Would have had another bottle of wine but the bartender was most involved in taking care of her friends than waiting on anyone else. At one point she emptied the dishwasher before even being bother to check in with us. We could have easily walked out w/o paying because she was so self involved and riding on her friends clientele and ego. Won’t be back and everyone I tell about this...
