I don't leave many reviews at all, and typically do not leave a negative review. I prefer to praise the places that excel and are deserving in letting other people know how great their business or service is. However, we decided to try out our new Popeye's in town and I put in a mobile order. Picked it up, went to Lowe's real quick and decided to double check the order only to find out it was incorrect. Since we were still in town, we drove back to Popeye's and explained, they corrected the order. We pulled around in the parking lot to check it again and it was still wrong! Couldn't believe it! The only reason we didn't go around again is because naturally we kept the wrong order since they can't take it back, so we had a little more food than we originally ordered. The chicken pieces were small (I suppose that varies from time to time). All in all, not a good experience and unfortunately will not be going back. Places like this we might only go once or twice a year anyway. Just thought we'd give it a try since it was new in town. I was hesitant because of the negative reviews I read, however wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. Go for yourself and experience the horribleness (or wait, don't, and let the bad reviews save you money and your stomach). Worst Popeye's I've ever visited. Ordered ahead 15-20 mins, got to drive thru, was told to pull up, waited and waited 2 vehicles behind come and go and then kid comes to ask who order was for again. Tell him, wait another 15 mins on top of that, get food, no sorry, fries half full or less, and sauce not given, including sauce I paid extra for. Had to go inside to get sauce because no one would come back to the window. Was given the sauce and no apology, again. Based off the reviews, all of this is an ongoing trend. I can understand the long wait cause its a new place but I can not understand how dirty the lobby was. 2 managers and 2 employees sat in the lobby for a meeting while a line formed and saw people waiting at the counter for 5 -10 min and they did not get up. These same managers and employees sat at the filthy tables, saw the food all over the floor, trash overflowing, the soda fountain and counter around it had pop spilled everywhere and napkins spilled everyone and the managers did nothing about it. Even had customers come up to counter and ask for a rag so they can clean a table to sit. Food took about 20 min for two people. And it wasnt very hot when getting it!
