I really love this place. My daughter and I were visiting Mayflower II and other sites of Plimoth Patuxet Museums and looking for some places for a lunch. My daughter was a bit tired after a walk and I selected the nearest restaurant from the site. I knew the golden rule like “do not choose the restaurant near tourist spots” but Pebbles was exception. We ordered a lobster roll and a fried clam roll. Lobster was flesh and fried clams were crispy. Absolutely delicious! You can enjoy the beautiful ocean view from the terrace and staff were very friendly. You must visit when you visit Plimoth.

This is one of the close restaurants to Plymouth's Pilgrim Memorial State Park. My autistic son enjoyed his usual plain cheeseburger, which had a soft homemade bun. Since we're near the ocean, my wife ordered the fried clam strips. There's a lot of batter to the clam strips, but delicious with the tartar sauce. If we had more time, we could've enjoyed their popular ice cream and smoothies like the Pebbles pineapple piña colada smoothie. Interesting to listen to 90s pop music in the background.

Pebbles is situated in a very touristy part of Plymouth. We popped by to grab some ice cream to end off our day. Quite a decent number of flavors here to choose from but queue is really long and moving so slowly. The owners' kid(s) appear to help out around but they seem a little lost in what to do. Still a decent place to grab some ice cream and food. Was a little disappointed with my pistachio ice cream because it tasted too milky. There are seats on the second floor to dine. Cash-only!

My sister and I visited today. The young lady working the register told my sister she wouldn’t be able to get a sample of the ice cream due to “Covid” rules yet the young man working the cooking area was putting his hands into a big metal bowl, eating French fries while making our food. We waited on chicken tenders and fries. About five minutes into waiting, I saw him pour his remaining fries from the big bowl into a little paper hot dog/ fry container and continued eating from that. However, he then proceeded to put that silver bowl next to the fry vat, at which point I tried to ask him if he was going to wash his hands or use a clean bowl to put my fries in. He simply smiled at me. He then sure enough put my fries into the huge metal bowl he was originally eating from. I then asked him why he did that. A different girl came out and rudely asked what the problem was and I explained it to her. She said, “do you still want your chicken tenders”? I told her no, I didn’t want any of it and just asked if I could have a refund. She then said something to the effect of “they don’t understand”, when I asked why she didn’t explain to the worker at the grill what was wrong. She did give me my money back. Very disappointing...

We went to this cafe for lunch on a trip to Plymouth two days ago. We ordered fried clams and club sandwich. We found a dark short hair in the sandwich. I wanted to show the sandwich to the blonde, blue-eyed lady who took the order, without revealing the situation to other customers. But the lady suddenly overreacted. She said, "I can't see hair, moreover, my hair is not short and black." The funny thing is that she didn't prepare the sandwich anyway. She just brought the sandwich to the table. Male service personnel both work in the kitchen and serve the table. The hair that came out of the sandwich looked like his hair. The attitude and reaction of the cashier lady was extremely rude. Frustrated, she took the sandwich and threw it away. She accused us of lying about a $10 sandwich. However, I quietly wanted to explain the situation to her without ruining the appetites of other customers. When I asked for a refund due to her extreme reaction, she literally ignored me. The taste of the new sandwich was also very bad compared to the old one. We couldn't help thinking maybe they got angry and put stale chicken on the sandwich. I didn't eat the new...

We were a little hesitant to stop here after seeing some of the lower ratings, but we’re so glad we didn’t pass it up, this place totally exceeded our expectations!

After touring the Mayflower, we decided to give it a shot, and wow we were genuinely impressed! We ordered the fish and chips and the clam chowder, and everything was absolutely delicious. The fries were hand-cut and homemade, crispy, golden, and seriously addictive. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and even the coleslaw (which is usually an afterthought) was amazing and definitely homemade, possibly the best I’ve ever had!

And don’t even get me started on the tartar sauce, tangy, flavorful, and clearly made in-house.

This spot might not have the highest ratings, but it was a hidden gem in our book. Don’t sleep on it! Someone send me that...
