We've been here a few times but probably won't go back after the experience we had recently. We've always known the food is just "ok" but in the past the cocktails were great and they have a decent selection of beers, only a few draft with the rest in cans or bottles. But our recent visit was nothing like our previous experiences. We had a horrible, lazy waitress and the cocktails were not good as they have been on the past. We've never seen the bartender before so apparently he didn't know how to mix the cocktails like the other ones.
There were a bunch of us and yet the waitress stood at the far end of our table and tried to be really cool and memorize our drink orders and ended up completely forgetting two of them. The music was so loud and when we were ordering, she was making some of us repeat our order because she was too lazy to walk around the table so she could be closer to us. She was pathetic. She comes back to the table with 2 of our drinks missing so we had to give her two of our orders again and then we finally got them. The worst part is she never apologized for this. In fact she had an arrogant attitude - not something you want to see in the restaurant business when the amount of your pay relies heavily on tips. To add to the laziness, when she brought the drinks, she handed them one-by-one to the person at the end of the table and told us to pass them around. She was literally too lazy to even walk around the table and serve the drinks. She did this both times we ordered a round of drinks. And then she never came back to give us our check. We had to go up to the bar and ask the bartender to give us our check and take our payment. Meanwhile the waitress was just standing at the other end of the bar and we could never get her attention.
Also, this is a tiny place and yet the music was ridiculously loud. We couldn't even hear each other and we were sitting close to one another. We went around 4:00p.
Just a heads up...all of the walls, ceiling, and the floor are black so if you're looking for a place that has an upbeat feel to it, you won't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery poor experience. The Blonde, female, Bartender there was very slow, rude and had very poor people skills and basically did not appreciate her customers. Don't recommend going back. Plenty of bars, restaurants in Plymouth who will appreciate your business. Try them. I recommend the Cabby Shack or KKatie's Burger Bar. Don't waste you're money here. In addition, other than it being directly on Plymouth's legendary Waterfront, it has,no appeal whatsoever. When Ben and Jenna ran the place, it was much better. Now its,a tourist hole in the wall dive bar. Decent draught beer selection but way too many IPA's for my taste. And the Shark Attack punch in glorified kool-aid. No parking also other than pay parking all over plymouth which makes this place not even worth the trip. Even the great John Taffer from the show, Bar Rescue, would throw up his hands trying to save this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHot dogs used to be the staple in this place, now they suck. Donāt want to give less than 4 stars because the rest of the food, service, bartenders, and drinks are awesome but whenever management changed over they completely ruined the reason a lot of us regulars coming here to eat, the hot dogs⦠they switched from a really good hotdog, to an extremely skinny piece of kielbasa. Iāve talked to 5-6 other regulars who all said the same thing, as a big glizzy guy, it blows my mind that they tasted these and thought āyup thatās the perfect hotdogā. Ruined the best part about this place by trying too hard. Ball park, Nathanās, Sabrett, Snappers, Hebrew National, Dietz & Watson, Applegate, Deutschmacher, Boars head, and you chose these?...
