When it comes to Italian American food I am very very particular. Basically, it has to be better than mine in order to keep me coming back. There are very few Italian American restaurants that have met my standards. It has to be fresh; it has to be too much food to eat at once; and the tomato sauce should taste like tomatoes, garlic, and basil...unless it's Sunday and you're making gravy. Notice I am saying Italian American not Italian - two different food groups. Stracco;s meets these standards and in doing so brings me back to my inner city youth. The subs are packed with food, they taste great because it's fresh, and the prices are reasonable. I had an eggplant parm last week that must have weighed 4 pounds. Swear to God! And it was almost as good as my mother's eggplant...love you Ma!
Go to Stracco's because they make the best subs in Plymouth. Plenty of parking, great variety, and a nice family...

Then my eyes met a bakery counter with freshly made lobster tails at Claire's and I'm sure there were other things but the lobster tails were my main focus I'm sure there was other stuff I just didn't see them after locking onto those homemade lobster tails. Every time I have gone in there the people working the grille and the counter have been outgoing and engaging... honestly they make you feel like family. The food is to die for.... especially the "goomies" (as my GG liked to call them) I'm talking about the pastries... They have the best tasting lobster tails...
