Was so looking excited to this place. We went there to eat dinner before a show at the amphitheater and walked in, there were about three tables that were empty, we just went straight to the bar.
We ordered a couple old-fashioned whiskeys from the bar and they were gonna go next-door to get them, 35 minutes later, let me repeat that... THIRTY FIVE MINUTES later, we got a drink. The bartenders never even offered us a drink while we're waiting or anything to help out with the situation. Then, one hour and five minutes later our food arrive. Nothing hard, three tacos and fish and chips. One hour and five minutes. The food was nothing to write home about, but was OK.
It really wasn't that busy, not sure the waiting staff was trained to handle a full place. Either way management needs to pull their head out and train people or figure out what the problem is. Waiting 35 minutes, sitting at a bar, for a drink is totally uncalled for. Won't be going there or recommended this...
Read moreI was so excited to take out of town friends here. We regularly come for the lunch specials. This time, I was so embarrassed to have recommended this spot. Despite being the only people there to eat, the service was truly awful. We didn't get our order taken for probably 30 minutes. Then there were so many errors, forgotten items, and all delivered at different times. My friend's salad was delivered after we had all finished and I didn't have silverware until I asked for it. We were there for over an hour and a half and The experience totally killed the evening for us. The waitress was in and out so even flagging someone down was a chore. For a higher priced place, I really expected better. Unfortunately I think the experience was bad enough that I'll look elsewhere...
Read moreThis lovely mid century bar and grill has everything I could want. It had excellent bar food where you could tell some thought and love went into the preparation and menu. The server's name escapes me but she was this tiny delightful woman who even gave us a short tour of the adjoining Whiskey Bar and Fine dining side of the business, I believe called the Yellowstone. The beer selection was good enough, and poured with care. The butter cake was delicious, as was the creme brulee. Restaurants like this are going to bring up the overall quality of establishments in the city and that should...
