KATZ — Local services in Pocatello

I left this review before I knew she moved her store KATZ IS AWESOME DONT GO TO THE YELLOWSTONE STORE ITS NOT KATZ ANYMORE HOWEVER 6 years ago this shop was excellent now I wouldn't pay someone to go in there. Idk if she sold her shop to someone else or what Went in there today with my daughter to try on bridal gowns. She literally sent my daughter to the back of the store and was like here. You could dig in there and see what you can find to fit you. That's what she said. They didn't have a platform to stand on no mirrors, no privacy to change into dresses. The lady and her too horribly behaved grandchildren sat in the area where the bridal people would be to look at gowns that we're on the bride, but you couldn't sit down anywhere because they treated it like a living room with McDonald's crap all over the place. Absolutely, no privacy. She had 2 little boys sitting out there, playing tablets watching my daughter change her clothes no big deal to the lady there. Complaining oh where is your mother to these kids was ridiculous. Nobody had any type of customer service in that store. Whatsoever, I would...

Ordered 5 tuxes through her for my wedding. She "forgot" to order them because she went on vacation so 3 days before the wedding when we were supposed to have them to make sure everything fit she (the owner) was in reno and was basically acting like it wasn't her problem even though we paid for all of them up front including the 50 dollar deposit. We returned the tuxes, the lady who took them checked them out and said everything was fine and there (we know we checked them to make sure everything was there before going in) and received a message from her 3 days later claiming that a tie was missing. After they checked it and everything was there. She also priced us differently for 2 of the tuxes so two people paid more. And shes also refusing to give us back the deposit because "we didn't pay one" for one. Terrible customer service. Completely scammed us and stole our money. What should have been 180 including the deposit we paid 210 for and shes refusing to give anything back. There are far better rental shops in southeast Idaho. Dont waste...

Kat is an all around gal... She's donated so much of her time to others. Including me my sewing machine had a glitch that I could not fix myself... I made a promise to my sister that I would sew some curtains for my sister for her class and I didn't think I was going to keep the promise I thought I would have to spend a couple hundred dollars to take it into a shop. Wich is not something on my budget I could do.. She seen how stressed I was calmed me down tried to give me tips over the phone really late and it was not working. She told me to bring it in her shop and see if she could figure it out. Let me tell you she's a very busy woman and had many calls throughout the two hours she was helping me not only did she not charge me she gave me some really awesome tips found out who I was sewing for and is going to donate to my sister with enough stuff she can spread it throughout the school.. Not once did she get frustrated at me. I recommend her for anything she's not just a dress lady she's a wonderful kind...
