This food is about as authentic as you can get. After realizing the only lady there is literally the only lady there running the shop and cooking, we couldn’t have been more impressed. My boyfriend got to talking to her and learned what part of Thailand she was from, and her family. We learned she made everything on her menu and they are her own recipes. Everything we tried was amazing. The sticky rice came just like it does in Thailand. We had chicken satay as an appetizer with a number 1 spice. And I would suggest nothing higher than a 1! He tried something I don’t know what it was. But I have the picture of it. And I had yellow curry with chicken. So yummy. We already talked about going back to try something different. She was very nice! All these comments saying she isn’t are not nice seeing as how she is doing everything. Seating. Taking orders. Drinks. And cooking up some amazing food!

I went to eat here with my mother this evening and we both asked for our dishes to be no hotter than a 2 spicy. This lady thinks it’s funny that she gave us somewhere around a 4+. I used to adore this place greatly and highly recommend it. To think that the owner thinks that it is funny to over spice an overpriced meal to begin with is absolutely ridiculous. I will neither be returning nor will I recommend this place to anybody, ever again. She didn’t even try to apologize. I shouldn’t expect anything better from Pocatello. Recommendations As Alternatives to lazy and unapologetic establishments: The Thai kitchen in Pocatello is much better overall. If you want to fantastic experience with high-quality Thai food and Vietnamese food you should check out Dee’s Kitchen in Idaho Falls. I’ve never never had a bad experience here and it’s definitely worth the drive!!

My dad and I went here a couple weeks ago and we won’t be going back. The service was TERRIBLE, she was not friendly at all. We were standing up at the front for a while before she came to seat us and waited a while to get our drinks. We ordered the tacos for an appetizer and most were completely empty. If anything was inside it was a dimed sized piece of chicken. When I received my chicken it was like a bowl of cereal…. and the chicken was so soggy from being submerged in the sauce. Disappointed with the experience.

This is a beautiful restaurant, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff was attentive, and not to the point of bothersome. The food was fresh, and pleasing in temperature. As you can see my review is rather clinical to read so far, and That is because the food wasn't exciting.

My girlfriend had Thai drunken noodles, and they were good.

I had phó and the flavor was not what you will expect from phó. I know, it's a Thai joint, not vietnamese, but while phó is a complex flavored dish, it isn't rocket science to make an average decent bowl.

The traditional accompaniments (i.e. Basil, lime, peppers, etc) were already in the bowl when served. Removing half of the phó experience of adding and adjusting to your personal taste.

Further the ingredients were far from traditional varieties. The basil was Genovese (Italian) rather than Thai, much too strong and sharp on flavor. In fact the broth tasted only of Italian basil broth rather than the complex layers of spices one would expect from Thailand.

Everyone expects the meatballs to be of the frozen variety, but these seemed to taste of a smokey Italian meatball. I wanted to attribute the Italian flavor to the basil broth, but I really feel they were Italian meatballs from Costco.

The tendons were hard and could not be chewed, and the other beef was not tender or flavourful.

All in all? Stick to the Thai menu. I'm sure they do...

I will never walk into this restaurant again. Horrible experience!!! Today we were meeting a group of people at the restaurant. 5 adults and 2 kids. I was the first to arrive with my two little boys 8 and 5 years old. As we walked into a completely empty restaurant and stood at the front door to be seated I saw a women who I believe to be the owner on the other side of the counter. My boys stood quietly by me. I noticed her glaring at myself and my kids. She didn’t greet us, say hello or offer to seat us. At that point I said hello and asked her if we could be seated. She rudely asked me if I read the sign… Not knowing what she was talking about I walked up to the sign and began to read a letter that began with Dear Parents……. the sign went on about childrens behavior and how they were pretty much not welcome in her restaurant. She then with her rude mannerism’s threw 3 menus down on the table. At this point I told her that I was not interested in spending my hard earned money in a restaurant where you are mistreated for bringing in children. I mean come on this isn’t a five star restaurant!!!!!! I’ve never been treated so poorly……. The place was completely empty and now I can see why. I will never walk through those doors again and I will also be spreading the word about my experience tonight to everyone I know. Word travels in a...
