Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

We were so happy that there was a Kilwins in Pompano Beach. We love going to beach towns in Florida because usually you will find a Kilwins. They are always decorated like an ice cream.parlor should look, and their employees are welcoming.

Kilwins is known all over the US for their delicious ice cream as well as their fudge. Luckily, Florida has them from Key West to St. Petersburg.

Kilwins offers a Buy 2, get 1 free on their fudge slices. So my daughter got the Sea Salt Vanilla Caramel Cream fudge slice, and I got the Milk Chocolate fudge. We haven't tried them yet but will later tomorrow.

Since this is a tourist attraction, the parking is so-so. There is street parking, but you have to drive around for a while until a space opens up. There is a 2 story garage that is a block or two away. This is a busy touristy area with the beach, the pier, shops, and...

So I've been coming to the store since the day it's opened with my golden retriever and have brought countless people over a 48 month period to the store. Spending hundreds per visit. Tonight the owner (foreigner) calls the store puts me on the phone through the company land line and tell me my dog isn't welcome this and that. Has pictures of the dog being fed behind countered etc . My dog IF it has been behind counter has been done from the request of the employee there. I did the math and spent over 5k this year in this franchise and will NEVER spend a dollar there again. The South African owner was beyond rude on the phone and zero effort to make a middle ground. I had the most spectacular experience at Kilwins Ice Cream in Pompano Beach, FL! Zack, our server, went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. His friendly attitude and excellent customer service truly stood out, adding to the enjoyment of our visit.

I tried the Pralines and Cream ice cream and the Old-Fashioned Vanilla, both topped with warm caramel—it was heavenly! The flavors were rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The house-made cones were the perfect finishing touch—so fresh and flavorful!
